An expandable tent structure with a side wall of mesh or fabric enclosing an internal volume of the tent. The tent has one or more openings in the roof and/or side walls of the tent, and a hatch pivotally attached to the tent. The hatch in one position covers an opening in the roof and/or side wall, and a mesh or fabric structure extends in an accordion-like manner between the hatch and edges of the opening. A plurality of ribs support the mesh or fabric, the ribs being pivotally attached to the tent supporting structure. When the hatch is in its open position, the internal volume of the tent is increased, with the mesh or fabric attached to the hatch and the edges of the opening providing a barrier over the opening against the environment.

Expandable tent with adjustable height and internal volume

A wearable carrying system for a container such as a backpack or a bag has one or two straps that extend over the shoulder(s) and torso of a user. The strap or straps include a bladder system that is sequentially inflated or deflated by the controllable introduction and removal of a fluid into and out of the bladder system. A shoulder pad is located on a portion of the strap, the shoulder pad having an additional controllable bladder system to adjust the load bearing position of a strap on the shoulder of a user.

Wearable carrying system

A wearable, torso-worn, hands free multi-illumination system having a fabric harness worn over the shoulders and adjacent the chest and back of a user. The fabric harness has an adjustable aperture to receive the head of the user, and a fastener along the rim of the aperture, where the fastener adjusts the size of the aperture. The fabric harness includes a front panel and a rear panel, with an ambient light and a light sensor mounted on the front panel. An electronic control system is mounted on the fabric harness, including a control board, LEDs, and light sensor. The ambient light and the light sensor are electrically connected to the control board. Switches are mounted to the front panel, and are electrically connected to the control board. An electric power source is removably mounted on the rear panel, and the power source is electrically connected to the control board.

Neck supported chest and back mobile lighting system

A personal wearable communication and speaker entertainment system which provides improved quality audio response and which does not interfere with the wearer's activities or block environmental sounds is disclosed. The speaker system is connected to or in communication with a conventional source of audio signals, such as radio, tape player, CD player, cellular telephone or the like.

Personal communication system

A hands-free personal communication device is worn about a user's neck. The communication device includes an elongated elastic neckband for supporting the communication device about the user's neck. The elastic neckband has memory characteristic and is bendable along its length such that the neckband is formable into and out of various selectable positions. An acoustic output device is attached to the neckband and positioned near an ear of the user when the communication device is worn about the user's neck. A microphone is attached to an end of the neckband. A detachable earbud may be attached to an end of the neckband.
