A method that incorporates the subject disclosure may include, for example, providing a first digital assistant to engage in a first communication exchange with a user of the first communication device where the first digital assistant has a first digital assistant persona that controls information provided by the first digital assistant during communication exchanges, analyzing user input during the first communication exchange, and adjusting the first digital assistant persona based on one or more of the user persona, user deficiency, or promotional offers. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Method and apparatus for adjusting a digital assistant persona

A first example device disclosed herein comprises memory including computer readable instructions and a processor to execute the instructions to access a group code and a group size from a second device, the group code to identify a group of devices to be included in a stream splitting session to distribute communication of a data stream, the group size to specify a number of devices included in the group of devices, the group of devices including the first device and the second device. The processor is also to initiate transmission of a request including the group code and the group size to a distribution system to establish the stream splitting session. The processor is further to forward a first portion of the data stream from the distribution system to the second device for aggregation with a second portion of the data stream at the second device.

Distributing communication of a data stream among multiple devices

Distributing communication of a data stream among multiple devices is disclosed. Example methods include sending a message from a first electronic device to a second electronic device to announce the first electronic device is available for inclusion in a shared connection to be established by the second electronic device with a service provider, the shared connection to split a first data stream from a source into a plurality of partial data streams to be distributed among a plurality of electronic devices. Example methods also include establishing a data connection with the service provider to receive a first one of the partial data streams associated with the shared connection. Example methods further include relaying the first one of the partial data streams associated with the shared connection from the service provider to the second electronic device.

A method includes receiving, at a customer premises equipment (CPE) device from a data source, media content requested by a media device. The method includes determining, at the CPE device, a number of concurrent media connections to establish to the media device based on a workload of the customer premises device. The method includes establishing the number of concurrent communication connections between the CPE device and the media device. The method also includes sending the media content as data packets via data packet streams to the media device from the customer premises equipment device. A data packet stream of the data packet streams is sent via each communication connection of the concurrent communication connections. Each data packet stream includes less than all data packets of the media content, and the media device processes the data packets received via the data packet streams to generate media content output.

Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for measuring user exertion via bone conduction. According to one aspect, a device can generate a measurement signal. The device can cause a transducer to transmit the measurement signal through a body of a user. The device can receive, via the transducer, a modified measurement signal. The modified measurement signal can include the measurement signal as modified by the body of the user. The device can compare the modified measurement signal to a modified baseline signal. The device can determine, based on a result of comparing the modified measurement signal to the modified baseline signal, a level of exertion experienced by the user while the measurement signal was transmitted through the body of the user.

Tracking remaining storage capacity of a vehicle using sensors via a wireless system of the vehicle is presented herein. A method can include receiving first data representing an object; receiving second data representing a storage space of a vehicle; and determining, using the first data and the second data, whether the object is capable of placement within the storage space of the vehicle. In an example, the method can further include displaying information representing an order of placements of a set of objects comprising the object, a proposed location for the object, and/or a proposed orientation for the object within the storage space of the vehicle in response to the object being determined to be capable of placement within the storage space of the vehicle.

Methods, apparatus and articles of manufacture for distributing communication of a data stream among multiple devices are disclosed. Example methods disclosed herein include sending a message from a first electronic device to a second electronic device to announce the first electronic device is available for inclusion in a shared connection to be established by the second electronic device with a service provider, the shared connection to split a first data stream from a source into a plurality of partial data streams to be distributed among a plurality of electronic devices. Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for disrupting bone conduction signals. According to one aspect, a device can receive a signal via a communication path that is external to a body of a user associated with the device. The device can generate a disruption signal to disrupt the signal. The device can send the disruption signal through the body of the user to disrupt the signal.

A method is provided for controlling the distribution of composite data of a user by an aggregation server. The method includes receiving data relating to the user that is generated from a plurality of sources, including image data, that is transmitted over a communication network. The method also includes identifying an image of the user captured in the image data using one or more of facial recognition, user names, and device identifiers. The method includes matching the identified image of the user with a profile of the user, and sending a notification to an address associated with the user informing the user of the image captured in the image data. The method further includes receiving a sharing permission from the user to share a designated portion of the data with an approved entity, and sharing the designated portion of the data with the approved entity.

Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for utilizing bone conduction to detect gestures. According to one aspect, a device can generate a signal and send the signal to a sensor network that is connected to a user. The device can receive a modified signal from the sensor network. The modified signal can include the signal as modified by a body of the user. The device can compare the modified signal to the signal to determine a difference in a feature between the signal and the modified signal. The device can determine a gesture performed by the user based upon the difference in the feature between the signal and the modified signal.

Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for a surface interface. According to one aspect of the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a system can include a plurality of surface transducers, a user transducer, and a user device. The plurality of surface transducers are in contact with a surface that is to be used as an input interface for a user. The user transducer is in contact with the user. The user device can include a processor and memory. The memory can stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. In particular, the processor can analyze a received portion of a signal to determine a relative location of a part of a body of the user on the surface, and can perform a function responsive to the relative location of the part of the body of the user on the surface.

A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may obtain operational capability and state information for at least one communication devices, and provide a usage profile to the communication devices to enable each to adjust a group of device personas, each controlling a function of a group of functions performed by one of the group of communication devices. The system may generate a first device persona based on presence information, operational capability information, other usage profiles of the group of communication devices, and state information, wherein operation of a second communication device of the group is based at least in part on the first device persona. A conflict may be identified between a first function and another function of the group of functions, based on an adjustment to the first device persona and the system may communication with the second communication device to resolve the conflict.
