An emergency lighting security system has a system control panel, a plurality of predetermined light fixtures, each light fixture in communication with a smart switch in data communication with the system control panel. A building distribution panel for distributing power to the light fixtures; Wi-Fi repeaters for boosting signal strength within an installation, and a key-fob operable by a homeowner to initiate an emergency signal to the control panel to set the smart switches into a strobe or flash mode controlling the light fixtures. Also a method of controlling an emergency lighting security system via a wireless control panel with Wi-Fi switches to set predetermined exterior and interior light fixtures into a strobe or flashing mode.

A supine cycling exercise machine includes a frame attached to a horizontal base and a rotation driving assembly supported by the frame. The driving assembly includes a rotatable crankshaft and two crankarms with proximal ends thereof attached to opposite ends of the crankshaft, with two pedals attached to distal ends of the crankarms. One or more crankarm includes a redirection connection mechanism at the proximal end thereof, and such a crankarm is adapted to be repositioned by an exerciser between an opposing and a parallel orientation relative to the other crankarm. The exercise machine can be used for two different cycling exercises, with either a reciprocating motion or a parallel motion of the exerciser's feet.

An efficient device for capturing fast moving particles has an adhesive particle shield that includes (i) a mounting panel and (ii) a film that is attached to the mounting panel wherein the outer surface of the film has an adhesive coating disposed thereon to capture particles contacting the outer surface. The shield can be employed to maintain a substantially particle free environment such as in photolithographic systems having critical surfaces, such as wafers, masks, and optics and in the tools used to make these components, that are sensitive to particle contamination. The shield can be portable to be positioned in hard-to-reach areas of a photolithography machine. The adhesive particle shield can incorporate cooling means to attract particles via the thermophoresis effect.

A fast change electric transformer connector is disclosed, which includes a cable connector having a cable attachment section, a connector extension connected to the cable attachment section, and a stud slide adaptor connected to a side of the connector extension for slidably attaching the cable connector to a transformer stud; and a stud screw adaptor complimentary to a transformer stud. The cable attachment section includes a cable receiving body having multiple receiving slots for receiving cables; and multiple removable sliding cable fastening blocks disposed within the receiving slots for fastening the cables. Each sliding cable fastening block can be slid in or out from the receiving slot for conveniently installing a large cable. Also disclosed are a transformer connector and a transformer adaptor, which have an adaptor extension for connecting between the transformer stud and the cable connection portion of the connector/adaptor, for use when shorted cables are cut.

A fast change electric transformer connector is disclosed, which includes a cable connector having a cable attachment body with a plurality of cable attachment ports, a connector extension connected to the cable attachment body, and a stud slide adaptor connected to a side of the connector extension; and a stud screw adaptor complimentary to a transformer stud, for connecting the transformer stud and the stud slide adaptor of the cable connector. Further disclosed is a transformer adaptor, which includes an inter-connector having a screw threaded end for connecting to a cable connector, and a stud slide adaptor for adapting to a transformer stud; and a stud screw adaptor for connecting the transformer stud and the stud slide adaptor of the inter-connector. Using the transformer connector or adaptor of the present invention, a transformer can be replaced rapidly without disconnecting cables.

A method and system for determining a source flux modulation recipe for achieving a selected thickness profile of a film to be deposited (e.g., with highly uniform or highly accurate custom graded thickness) over a flat or curved substrate (such as concave or convex optics) by exposing the substrate to a vapor deposition source operated with time-varying flux distribution as a function of time. Preferably, the source is operated with time-varying power applied thereto during each sweep of the substrate to achieve the time-varying flux distribution as a function of time. Preferably, the method includes the steps of measuring the source flux distribution (using a test piece held stationary while exposed to the source with the source operated at each of a number of different applied power levels), calculating a set of predicted film thickness profiles, each film thickness profile assuming the measured flux distribution and a different one of a set of source flux modulation recipes, and determining from the predicted film thickness profiles a source flux modulation recipe which is adequate to achieve a predetermined thickness profile. Aspects of the invention include a computer-implemented method employing a graphical user interface to facilitate convenient selection of an optimal or nearly optimal source flux modulation recipe to achieve a desired thickness profile on a substrate. The method enables precise modulation of the deposition flux to which a substrate is exposed to provide a desired coating thickness distribution.

Method and system using power modulation and velocity modulation producing sputtered thin films with sub-angstrom thickness uniformity or custom thickness gradients

A method and system for producing a thin film with highly uniform (or highly accurate custom graded) thickness on a flat or graded substrate (such as concave or convex optics), by sweeping the substrate across a vapor deposition source with controlled (and generally, time-varying) velocity. In preferred embodiments, the method includes the steps of measuring the source flux distribution (using a test piece that is held stationary while exposed to the source), calculating a set of predicted film thickness profiles, each film thickness profile assuming the measured flux distribution and a different one of a set of sweep velocity modulation recipes, and determining from the predicted film thickness profiles a sweep velocity modulation recipe which is adequate to achieve a predetermined thickness profile. Aspects of the invention include a practical method of accurately measuring source flux distribution, and a computer-implemented method employing a graphical user interface to facilitate convenient selection of an optimal or nearly optimal sweep velocity modulation recipe to achieve a desired thickness profile on a substrate. Preferably, the computer implements an algorithm in which many sweep velocity function parameters (for example, the speed at which each substrate spins about its center as it sweeps across the source) can be varied or set to zero.
