An adjustment assembly for adjusting a position of one of a pair of steering levers of a riding lawn care vehicle that has first and second drive wheels may include a sleeve, a base portion and a rotatable adjuster. The steering levers may be operably coupled to respective ones of the first and second drive wheels to selectively control the riding lawn care vehicle based on drive speed control of the first and second drive wheels responsive to positioning of the steering levers along forward and rearward directions. The sleeve may be operably coupled to one of the steering levers and the base portion may be operably coupled to the sleeve via a pivot coupling. The pivot coupling is configured to reposition the sleeve relative to the base portion along the forward and rearward directions responsive to operation of the rotatable adjuster to define non-discrete fixing relationships between the sleeve and the base portion along the forward and rearward directions.

A riding lawn care vehicle () may include a frame (), a steering assembly (), a brake assembly (), and a mechanical brake linkage assembly (). At least a first drive wheel () and a second drive wheel () of the riding lawn care vehicle () may be attachable to the frame (). The steering assembly () may include a first steering lever () and a second steering lever (), where the first and second steering levers () are operably coupled to the first and second drive wheels () respectively to facilitate turning of the riding lawn care vehicle () based on drive speed control of the first and second drive wheels () responsive to positioning of the first and second steering levers () along a first direction when the first and second steering levers are in an operating position. The brake assembly may be operably coupled to the first and second drive wheels () to enable brakes to be selectively applied to the first and second drive wheels (). The mechanical brake linkage assembly () may be configured to activate the brake assembly () relative to the first and second drive wheels () in response to movement of the first and second steering levers () in a direction parallel to the first direction after the first and second steering levers () have been moved from the operating position to a non-operating position.

A modular light and accessory bar for a vehicle includes a top rail having a length selected to span a width of the vehicle along the top of the windshield, a right end, and a left end. A right side pillar is configured to be attached to the top rail at the right end thereof and extend downwardly therefrom. A left side pillar is configured to be attached to the top rail at the left end thereof and extend downwardly therefrom. The top rail is formed with at least one T-slot that extends along the length of the top rail. At least one bracket is configured to support a lighting fixture or accessory and is attachable to the T-slot of the top rail at a desired location therealong. The T-slot is configured to permit the at least one bracket to be slid to a desired location along the top rail and secured at that location. The top rail may be curved forwardly relative to the vehicle.

A force-diverting tail light guard is disclosed for a vehicle having tail lights that project from the body of the vehicle with each tail light having a vehicle facing surface and a rear-facing surface joined by sides. The tail light guard has a base configured to be mounted against the body of the vehicle surrounding the tail light. The base may include a plate that at least partially covers the vehicle-facing surface of the tail light. A cage is configured to be mated to the base and at least partially covers at least the rear-facing surface of the tail light. The base and cage, when mated together around the tail light, at least partially surround the tail light. Attachment structures are disclosed for mounting the tail light guard to the body of the vehicle surrounding the tail light. The tail light guard is configured to divert external forces due to impact around the tail light and directly to the body of the vehicle to prevent impacts from breaking the tail light or rendering the tail light inoperable.

A roof rack and soft top assembly for a vehicle having an exposed passenger compartment protected by a windshield and a roll cage. The assembly includes an outer frame mounted to the vehicle exterior to the roll cage and surrounding a rear passenger compartment, and a plurality of slide rails mounted to the top of the roll cage above a front passenger compartment. The assembly further includes a soft top suspended from the outer frame with fasteners and a header assembly attached to a forward portion of the soft top that slides along the slide rails to engage with the top edge of the windshield, thereby covering the front passenger compartment. When open air driving is desired, the soft top can be withdrawn or removed from the slide rails and the outer frame and stored in the vehicle.

A spring assist mechanism is disclosed for aiding manual deployment of a collapsible soft top that has a frame incorporating a back bow that includes spaced side struts joined at upper ends by a crossbar. The spring assist mechanism includes a bracket securable to the body of the vehicle on one side thereof. A pivot pin extends from the bracket to a distal end and a pivot plate is rotatably supported on the pivot pin. An attachment feature is fixed to the pivot plate displaced from the pivot pin and the pivot plate forms an attachment arm configured to be fixed to a lower end of one of the side struts. The pivot plate thus facilitates pivotal movement of the side strut and back bow between a generally vertical deployed configuration and a generally horizontal stowed configuration. A biasing member, which can be a coil spring, has a first end fixed relative to the bracket and a second end coupled to the attachment feature. The biasing member is configured to urge the pivot plate and an attached side strut and back bow toward the deployed configuration thereby aiding manual deployment of the soft top. Spring assist mechanisms may be disclosed on both sides of the vehicle if desired.
