An on-demand security inspection system is provided for dispatching an investigator to a target dwelling. The investigator (e.g., a police officer) carries a video camera (e.g., a body cam). The inspection system comprises a service management server, a requestor interface, and an investigator interface. The requestor interface is configured to link a user to the service management server in order to specify a checklist. The investigator interface is configured to link a mobile unit (e.g., a vehicle control module or a handheld mobile unit) to the service management server in order to (1) communicate a plurality of checklist prompts to the mobile unit, and (2) return video data from the video camera captured according to the checklist prompts.

Guided home security inspection policing service

A vehicle monitors an ongoing enforcement situation using one or more sensors provided to the vehicle and determines, based on the monitoring and sensor data of the one or more sensors, that a foot pursuit has begun. The vehicle receives a location signal from a location-providing device carried by at least one entity involved in the situation and determines a street route for the vehicle that follows movement of the entity by using streets travelable by the vehicle, based on a plurality of locations received from the location-providing device. Also, the vehicle automatically and autonomously controls the vehicle to follow the determined street route.

An enforcement vehicle includes monitors an identified stopped vehicle using one or more sensors of the enforcement vehicle, to determine if any change to the stopped vehicle indicates a likelihood of escalation based on predefined escalation characteristics. One or more retroreflective beads is configured to reflect an incident light directed towards the light-producing assembly. An optic is operably coupled with the light-producing assembly and is disposed externally of the one or more retroreflective beads for distributing an excitation light in a predefined direction.

A vehicle lighting assembly is provided herein. The vehicle lighting assembly includes a back panel configured to couple to a vehicle. A plurality of light sources emit a common wavelength of light. A first portion of the plurality of light sources is operably coupled with a luminescent structure. A second portion of light sources emits the common wavelength of light from an overmold material that is disposed outboard of the first and second portions of light sources.

A vehicle lighting system is provided herein. A spotlight is coupled to a vehicle and is configured to project light in a target direction. A controller is configured to wirelessly send command signals to the spotlight. A user-input device is in communication with the controller and is provided on a steering wheel of the vehicle. The command signals are based on user-input and control at least one of an aim direction and a light activation of the spotlight.

Additionally, the example police assistance unit is to, in response to the distance satisfying a first threshold, lock doors and roll up windows of the police vehicle.

A warning indicator system for a vehicle side-view mirror includes light sources disposed to emit light in patterns and/or colors visible through a partially light-reflective surface. One or more processors are operatively configured to actuate the light sources in predetermined sequences defining a stealth mode, a pursuit mode, and a traffic advisor mode. The partially light-reflective surface may be a light transmitting substrate having a coating of a reflective substance provided in a thickness allowing at least a partial transmission of light therethrough. The light sources may be printed light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Disposing the light sources in desired patterns to emit desired colors on actuation in a predetermined sequence allows configuring the side mirrors to emit visible light signals indicative of the stealth mode, a pursuit mode, and a traffic advisor mode.

A photoluminescent structure is disposed on the light-producing assembly and is configured to luminesce in response to excitation by a light source of the light-producing assembly. An adhesive layer having one or more retroreflective beads embedded therein is disposed on the photoluminescent structure. An overmold material is disposed over a portion of the retroreflective beads.

Systems and methods are disclosed for a police vehicle exterior light control. An example disclosed police vehicle includes first beacons positioned on a chassis of the police vehicle, second beacons positioned on a lightbar of the police vehicle, and a plurality of spotlights on the lightbar. The example police vehicle also includes a light control unit that tracks a location of wearable nodes associated with a police officer. Additionally, the light control unit illuminates the area around the police officer using selected ones of the plurality of spotlights.

A controller is configured to selectively activate the light sources to reveal a symbol defined by the emitting layer.
