Exhaust assemblies for vehicles and methods of installing exhaust systems on vehicles are disclosed. An exhaust assembly for a vehicle includes an exhaust inlet to receive combustion products from a drive unit, a catalytic converter to control emissions from combustion products received by the exhaust system, and a first piping assembly coupled to the exhaust inlet and the catalytic converter.

Vehicle exhaust assemblies and methods therefor

A hybrid passenger vehicle includes a chassis supported by at least one front wheel and at least one rear wheel, a body coupled to the chassis including at least one door, and a vehicle floor coupled to the chassis. The body defines an interior space configured to be occupied by at least one passenger when operating the vehicle, and the vehicle floor has a front end and a rear end. A rear wall is coupled to the rear end of the vehicle floor such that the rear wall defines a rearmost boundary of the vehicle floor. A rear suspension assembly is coupled to the chassis. The rear wall is arc-shaped, and the rear suspension assembly is located rearward of the rear wall.

A door assembly for a motorized vehicle includes a door configured to move between an open position and a closed position, a first member defining a first axis, and a first support member pivotally coupled to the door and defining a second axis. A linkage assembly includes a first arm and a second arm. The first arm and the second arm are pivotally coupled to one another, where the first arm is coupled to the first member at a location offset from the first axis and the second arm defines a first slot. A cross member has a first end and a second end. The first end has a first pin for slideably engaging the first slot and the second end being coupled to the first member. The door is movable between the open and closed positions as the first member pivots about the first axis.

A positionable shifter assembly for use in a vehicle adapted to transport a physically limited person, wherein a front passenger compartment includes a dashboard, a driver side compartment, a passenger side compartment, and a vehicle shifter disposed between the driver side compartment and the passenger side compartment. The positionable shifter assembly includes a platform configured to support the vehicle shifter, wherein the platform is configured be positioned at a plurality of locations within the front passenger compartment. A securing mechanism is the configured to secure the positionable shifter assembly at one of the plurality of locations within the vehicle.

A chair includes a first leg frame having first side rails with upper ends and a front cross rail connected to the upper ends; a second leg frame having second side rails; a back frame having back side rails with upper ends and a top cross rail connected to the upper ends of the back side rails; a frame link assembly having frame link members; a flexible support member extending between the top cross rail and the front cross rail; and, a central back link. One of the second side rails is pivotally connected along a first axis to one of the back side rails and is pivotally connected along a second axis to one of the first side rails, one of the frame link members is pivotally connected along a third pivot axis to one of the back side rails and is pivotally connected along a fourth pivot axis to one of the first side rails, and said central back link is pivotally connected along the first pivot axis to one of the second side rails and is pivotally connected along the third pivot axis to one of the frame link members.
