Various embodiments of a targeting device for use with systems, methods, and apparatuses for fusion, stabilization, and/or fixation of bones are disclosed. In one embodiment, a targeting device is provided, the targeting device comprising: a targeting arm including a targeting portion, a radial portion, and at least one aperture oriented in the targeting portion; a target lock; and a rotation arrestor including an arresting engagement portion, an elongated shaft, and a button operatively connected to the arresting engagement portion.

In one embodiment, a device for tensioning an orthopedic device is provided, the device comprising: a screw drive; a screw gear; a body portion comprising a first cam lever and a second cam lever; and a cable operatively connected to the orthopedic device and operatively connected to the body portion; wherein rotation of the screw gear causes translation of the screw drive.

Device for tensioning apparatus for fusion, stabilization, and/or fixation of bones

A stabilization apparatus for reaming bone elements includes an outer sleeve having support rod apertures. Support rods are configured to extend through the support rod apertures and into one or more bone elements to secure the outer sleeve to the bone elements. An inner sleeve is movable axially into the outer sleeve, and rotationally relative to the outer sleeve, when the outer sleeve is secured to the bone elements by the support rods. The apparatus further includes means for releasably blocking movement of the inner sleeve axially out of the outer sleeve, while permitting rotation of the inner sleeve relative to the outer sleeve, when the outer sleeve is secured to the bone elements by the support rods.
