The present invention relates to a backpack system for transporting items and an accompanying device. In exemplary embodiments, carried items are kept secure within a plurality of item holders to prevent the items from moving. The item holders can be rigid structures like cylinders or flexible canvas pouches. In exemplary embodiments, the backpack system can have configurations for carrying either a device or additional items.

The present invention relates to a communication disruption system. In a first audio path, a microphone receives input sound, an amplifier system amplifies the sound, and a sound system transmits a first output sound. In a second audio path, the microphone receives input sound, a delay circuit delays the sound, the amplifier system amplifies the sound, and the sound system transmits a second output sound. A target speaker will hear the first and second output sounds, with the first output sound being a reproduction of their speech heard nearly simultaneously with the original speech, and the second output sound being a reproduction of their speech heard slightly after the original speech. Due to the delayed auditory feedback effect, the target speaker's concentration will be disrupted, making it difficult for them to continue speaking.

An augmented reality (AR) system comprising a head mounted display (HMD) configured to display one or more AR visualizations within an operator's field of view (FOV), a control system including a processor and a storage system configured to store machine readable instructions, sensors configured to determine at least location and/or orientation of said sensors including a head mounted and device mounted sensor, and a communication system configured to communicate data between elements of the AR system. Augmented reality visualization system

A vehicle recovery or anchoring system is provided including a winch coupled to a vehicle, a cable retractably disposed in the winch, a selectively removable dual use vehicle component and anchoring structure (DUVCAC), e.g., a spare tire, and a retaining structure that is configured to retract and hold the DUVCAC or extend the same based on operation of the winch. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, an electrical system is provided. The system comprises a controller including a plurality of machine implemented processing sequences. The electrical system also includes a plurality of sensors configured to receive input related to the environmental conditions of the environment surrounding the plurality of sensors and transmit the input to the controller, at least one power source in electrical communication with the controller. The electrical system further includes at least one storage device in electrical communication with the controller, and at least one device sensor in communication with an end user. Auto adjusting ranging device

A protective structure for a vehicle having an opening on an upper surface is provided. One embodiment of the invention has at least a partial enclosure around an area defined laterally by the vehicle opening with an overhead and side protective capability. An embodiment of the invention has an overhead cover that is formed to substantially enclose a top area of the enclosure and having multiple panels that may be locked into place or opened by an occupant for exit through a top area of the enclosure. Biasing devices may be provided to bias the panels toward an open position and thereby facilitate occupant egress. The multiple panels in this embodiment extend upwardly and inwardly from a section of the enclosure's side walls. Ballistic windows are provided on the protective structure such that an occupant can view laterally and vertically through the enclosure and overhead cover. A shield or protective plate can be mounted on one side of the enclosure.

A high-speed modeling system and a method of constructing a model are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the system comprises first and second cameras, a control portion to synchronize the first and second cameras, and a projector of electromagnetic patterns. The first and second cameras are synchronized by the control portion to generate second frames a time interval after first frames are generated to thereby obtain a high frame-rate which is higher than the frame-rate of the first camera. Multiple imaging stations comprising first and second cameras may be directed to the path traveled by a mass at a high speed, in a prescribed arrangement, to model the mass with the high frame-rate system.
