A framework for efficiently importing content into a speech-controlled system in a manner that makes the content easily accessible using voice commands. A speech-controlled system that can be controlled using a variety of commands, including a command to retrieve audio content, can be configured using a framework of content organization that allows new content to be ingested using the framework, thus making the new content accessible to users of the system without manually adjusting the system to recognize when incoming commands call for the new content. The framework can include configured content demarcations (such as information demarcations that divide content into articles, or other sized portions), labels for those demarcations (such as topic descriptors or the like), etc. Various language processing components such as intent classification and named entity recognition can be configured to recognize words that relate to the new content such as recognizing intents to access the new content using the topic descriptors or other labels. In this manner data related to new content may be more efficiently incorporated into a speech processing system.

Multi-portion spoken command framework

Example embodiments provide techniques for configuring a natural language processing (NLU) system for new functionalities using sample user inputs provided by a developer. The system may determine intent labels associated with the sample user inputs using previous user inputs previously processed by the NLU system. The system may configure a new NLU model, using the NLU model associated with the intent label determined by the system, where the new NLU model is configured to enable invocation of the new functionality.

Configuring natural language system

A request to send messages is received by a sender messaging service from a sender. The messages are for one or more recipients associated with one or more recipient messaging services. The sender messaging service can determine that at least one of the plurality of messages is indicative of message abuse. The sender messaging service can generate a warning message which includes at least one of an indication of the sender, an indication of an address of the sender, and an indication of the message abuse. The sender messaging service can send the warning message to the one or more recipient messaging services.

Message abuse sender feedback loop

A system for easily importing content related to a device into a speech-controlled system in a manner that makes the content easily accessible using voice commands. A speech-controlled system that detect a device type from which audio data is received and can determine if the utterance of the audio data includes a query related to the specific device. The system can then obtain and ingest content related to the device and analyze that content to identify the portion of the content responsive to the query. The remaining content can be stored to potentially respond to future queries.

Ingesting device specific content

Automated reply messages such as 'out-of-office' messages or 'away' messages are messages that have been programmed for delivery on behalf of a user upon the receipt of another message intended for the user. An automated reply message typically includes relevant information regarding the user, such as supplemental contact information for the user, a duration of his or her unavailability, and an agent or other contact who may be reached on his or her behalf while he or she is unavailable. The information contained therein may be harvested and utilized for any means, including to protect the user against fraudulent attempted actions on his or her behalf that are not authorized by the user or an agent identified in the reply message.

Determining user information from automated replies

Methods and systems for round-robin e-mail scheduling are disclosed. A plurality of e-mail addresses, comprising a first e-mail address and a second e-mail address, are acquired. A first e-mail is sent to the first e-mail address. It is automatically determined whether the first e-mail was successfully delivered to the first e-mail address. If the first e-mail was not successfully delivered to the first e-mail address, a second e-mail comprising the same message content is automatically sent to the second e-mail address.

Round-robin e-mail scheduling

Disclosed are various embodiments for facilitating opting back in to, or controlling, the sending of promotional communications by customers. A system is provided that includes at least one computing device upon which an application is executable. The application is configured to determine an option status of a customer with respect to whether the customer wishes to receive a plurality of promotional communications from a merchant. The application is further configured to determine whether an opted-out customer meets a criterion to be prompted to opt back into receiving the promotional communications. Also, the application is configured to associate a prompt with a network content item to send to a client. The prompt is configured to initiate a re-selection of the option status of the customer if manipulated by the customer at the client.

Opting whether to receive communications

Methods and systems for deliverability-based e-mail sending are disclosed. A plurality of e-mail addresses for a user are acquired. For each of the e-mail addresses, a connection between a sending computer system and a receiving computer system is opened. A likelihood of successful e-mail delivery is determined for each of the connections. The connection having the highest likelihood of delivery is automatically selected. An e-mail is sent using the selected connection, and the other connections are closed without sending an e-mail.
