Embodiments relate to systems and methods for sample image capture using integrated control. A digital microscope or other imaging device can be associated with a sample chamber containing cell, tissue, or other sample material. The chamber can be configured to operate using a variety of environmental variables, including gas concentration, temperature, humidity, and others. The imaging device can be configured to operate using a variety of imaging variables, including magnification, focal length, illumination, and others. A central system control module can be used to configure the settings of those hardware elements, as well as others, to set up and carry out an image capture event. The system control module can be operated to control the physical, optical, chemical, and/or other parameters of the overall imaging environment from one central control point. The variables used to produce the image capture can be configured to dynamically variable during the media capture event.

Systems and methods for sample image capture using integrated control

An electrostatic fluid accelerator includes an electrode array comprising an array of corona discharge electrodes and an array of accelerating electrodes for moving a fluid. A detector is configured to sense a constituent component of the fluid. A control circuit supplies power to the electrode array and operates the electrostatic fluid accelerator in response to an output from the detector.

An electrostatic fluid accelerator includes an electrode array including an array of corona discharge electrodes and an array of accelerating electrodes. A detector is configured to sense a constituent component of the fluid as present in an output from the electrode array. A control circuit supplies power to the electrode array, the control circuit being responsive to an output from the detector for operating the electrode array responsive a level of the constituent component.

Method of controlling a fluid flow

A utility cart with the improvements including an adjustable height handle, a foot activated brake, an adjustable cart partition, and easy turning swivel front wheels to assist in guiding the cart. An inverted U-shaped telescoping handle, which curves outwardly from the backside of the cart is easily adjustable for desired height. A foot-activated brake mechanism is used to apply pressure to rather large, rubber tread wheels to prevent the cart from rolling when stopped on an inclined surface. An additional foot-activated lever is used to release the brake. Three embodiments of the utility cart are disclosed, these being (1) a rigid cart for general use, (2) a collapsible cart for storing, and (3) a low profile portable cart for fitting into the trunk of a car.

Personal utility cart

An air classification system comprises of dual cylindrical chambers mechanically separated, to allow a zone of atmospheric air in between. A primary classification chamber situated vertically below a concentric secondary classification chamber. A rotating parallel blade turbine is situated within the lower primary chamber in order to effect centrifugal particle classification upon a feed material intimately mixed in an air stream. A tubular rotary discharge connected to the turbine which passes through the zone of atmospheric air separating the dual chambers, and extends into the upper secondary chamber which exists to collect and discharge the classified product from the system. A classifier of this design is capable of separating ultra fine particles without stray amounts of oversize with extremely high fine product yields.
