The invention relates to a method for producing a master batch comprising between 0.01 and 50 wt. % of carbonaceous nanofillers and at least one sulphurated material such as elemental sulphur by melt compounding, and to the master batch thus produced and the different uses thereof. The invention also relates to a solid composition comprising carbonaceous nanofillers dispersed in a sulphurated material.

The present invention relates to an active material suitable for the production of an electrode, in particular an electrode for a Li&#x2014;S battery. The active material according to the invention comprises carbon nanofillers homogeneously dispersed in the substance of a sulphur material, the active material being obtainable according to a method involving melting in the presence of intense mechanical energy. The quantity of carbon nanofillers in the active material represents 1 to 25% by weight with respect to the total weight of the active material. The active material according to the invention allows an improvement in the electronic conductivity of the formulation of the electrode. Another aspect of the invention is the use of the active material in an electrode, in particular in a Li&#x2014;S battery cathode.

A method for producing a master mixture including at least one superplasticiser and carbonaceous nanofillers at a mass ratio of between 0.1% and 25%, preferably between 0.2% and 20%, in relation to the total weight of the master mixture, and also to said master mixture thus obtained and to the use thereof in a hardenable inorganic system with a view to producing materials with improved properties. A method for the manufacture of a paste composition suitable for the production of an electrode for lead-acid battery, including mixing a carbon nanofiller/lead oxide composite of a first particulate size with sulphuric acid, water and further lead oxide of a second particulate size. Also, the paste thus obtained, the composite used in its manufacture, and the electrode and lead-acid battery obtained from this paste.
