An illumination module for a motor vehicle that includes at least a light source, an optical light guide including an entry face for the light emitted by the light source and a light exit face. The optical guide is arranged in order to allow propagation of the light from its entry face to its exit face. An opaque mask is arranged on the path of the light rays exiting the optical guide and includes at least one window allowing the passage of the light. At least one supplementary optical element closes off the window. The supplementary optical element includes a convergent optical device.

A light guide intended to propagate light rays emitted from at least one light source, the light guide including at least three successive portions in a direction of propagation of the light rays from the one or more light sources, the three successive portions being a first portion, a second portion located immediately after the first portion, the second portion following a curve defined by a main radius of curvature, and a third portion located immediately after the second portion. According to the invention, at least one slit is produced in the second portion, the one or more slits defining at least two sub-guides, the sub-guides joining so as to form the third portion of the light guide.

The invention relates to a lighting and/or signaling system for motor vehicles, including a light source and a lens configured for receiving light rays coming directly or indirectly from the source through an input surface and for emitting a first output beam providing a first regulatory lighting and/or signaling function through an output surface. A waveguide is configured for directly or indirectly receiving light rays coming from the source through an input surface and for emitting a second output beam through an output surface, wherein a coupling zone of the waveguide is located opposite a portion of either the input surface of the lens or the output surface of the lens.

Lighting and/or signaling system for motor vehicles

A light guide including a transparent body which is generally elongated in a principal direction with an outer facet forming a diopter with the environment of the body, a first row of inclined facets adapted to reflect the rays in order for them to exit, and at least one second row of reflecting facets of smaller size than the corresponding reflecting facets of the first row. The light reflected by the second row or rows is added to the light beam coming from the first row. The widths of the first row and the second rows can respectively and progressively increase and decrease from the light source so as to compensate the progressive losses of light traveling in the light guide.

A lighting device, notably for motor vehicles, including two so-called principal light guides and a so-called connecting light guide, each principal guide including a lateral surface, the connecting guide being continuous with both of the principal guides at the level of their respective lateral surface, the device being configured to feed the connecting guide with light from the principal guides. The invention further concerns a lighting module including such a device.

An optical module for lighting and/or signalling apparatus for a motor vehicle, the optical module comprising at least one main reflector associated with at least one light source for emitting a main light beam. The optical module includes at least one supplementary reflective zone outside the main reflector and adapted to receive some of the light which comes directly or indirectly from the light source, and to reflect it so as to create a secondary light beam in a mean direction which is different from the mean direction of the main light beam.
