A secure system for charging a battery of a motor vehicle from a power supply network, which system is in a vehicle and includes a mechanism measuring frequency of the network, an injection mechanism injecting current pulses into the network, a mechanism measuring voltage between the ground and a neutral of the network, an analog filter filtering the measured voltages at high frequencies, a digital filter filtering the analog-filtered voltages at low frequencies, and a mechanism determining resistance between the ground and the neutral of the network on the basis of the digitally filtered voltages and an amplitude of the current pulses. The digital filter includes a mean value filter which determines a mean value based on N voltage measurements spaced apart by a time interval T+T/N, where T is the period of the network determined by the mechanism measuring the frequency of the network.

Secure on-board system for charging the battery of a motor vehicle from a power supply network

A device for measuring resistance of a ground tap and a charger for an on-board vehicle including the device. The device includes a current source and an ammeter disposed on a first electrical branch, provided to link a phase of a power supply network with the ground of the installation; a second electrical branch provided to link a neutral wire of the power supply network with the ground of the installation, including a resistor across terminals of which is connected a voltmeter, and a first capacitor in series with the resistor; and a third electrical branch is provided for linking the neutral wire of the network with the ground of the installation, and including, on the third branch, in parallel with the first capacitor and with the first resistor, a second capacitor of higher value than the first capacitor.

A device and method for estimating resistance of a ground connection of an electrical apparatus connected to an electrical power network, also connected to ground by an additional resistance, and including at least one impedance disposed at an input of the electrical apparatus, a voltage generator connected to the impedance and connected to ground, a mechanism to measure current flowing to ground, and a calculation mechanism to estimate the resistance of the ground connection as a function of the current flowing to ground. The device and method can for example find application in estimation of resistance of a ground connection of a charger of an electric or hybrid traction motor vehicle.

A device and method for protection of an electrical apparatus against touch currents, the device configured to be connected between a source of electrical power and a device onboard a motor vehicle, and including a circuit for detecting leakage currents and for estimating touch currents, configured to be connected to the electrical connection lines of the apparatus, a circuit measuring frame current, and a mechanism controlling operation of the apparatus according to the estimated level of the touch currents and the measured level of the frame current. The device includes an impedance matching branch mounted in parallel with the actuators and including a capacitor in series with a selection switch, which is closed and opened, at the same time as the selection switch of the actuator to be excited, so that the voltage across the terminals of the matching capacitor and the voltage across the terminals of the selected actuator are almost zero before the start and after the end of the injection. A method of controlling the matching switch makes it possible to benefit from the capacitive charge during the pulse train causing the injection, while circumventing abrupt discharges at the start of the train. Such a device and method may find application to the engines of motor vehicles, as one example.

Device and method for driving an ultrasound piezoelectric actuator

A method for monitoring a control circuit of an actuating device with at least one actuator including an actuated part and an electric member controlling movement of the actuated part, the control circuit including a bridge, the controlling electric member being connected in the bridge. The method includes: powering the bridge, producing at least one measurement signal representing the position of the actuated part, and selectively interrupting conduction in at least one branch of the bridge in accordance with the measurement signal to maintain the measurement signal substantially in an operating zone defined between a low threshold and a high threshold during a phase activating the controlling electric member. Conduction is interrupted in at least one branch to place the controlling electrical member in short-circuit via two branches of the bridge when the measurement signal reaches at least one specific threshold above the low threshold.
