A multipoint contact detection device includes at least two capacitive or inductive sensitive structures associated with respective primary detection zones of a surface that a person is likely to contact. The sensitive structures are positioned with a separation that is small enough between them to define at least one intermediate detection zone that the person is likely to contact while exerting a capacitive or inductive disturbance on the adjacent sensitive structures. The device also includes a processing circuit configured to detect, for each sensitive structure, a disturbance induced by the person coming into proximity or into contact and locating the region or regions of the surface with which the person comes into contact relative to the primary detection zones and the one or more intermediate detection zones.

Multipoint contact detection device and method

The invention relates to a method for making an electronic display device () having a screen () covered by a protection plate, and to a substrate () covered by said screen for obtaining such a device. The method comprises the following steps: a) applying glue () at the non cross-linked state substantially on the entire surface of the screen and/or the assembling surface () of the plate () following a deposit on the screen connection area () of at least one organic layer () for protecting the connection area from the glue; applying the assembling surface against the screen via the glue; c) emitting a radiation through the plate for cross-linking the glue; and d) removing a portion of the plate covering the connection area so that the latter can be electrically accessible, the protection layer being removed from the connection area upon said removal or during a further surface processing step. The invention relates to an organic optoelectronic device, such as a display, lighting or signalling device, that is protected from the ambient air by a sealed encapsulation in the form of a thin film, and to a method for encapsulating such a device. An optoelectronic device () according to the invention is coated with a sealed multi-layer encapsulation structure () comprising alternating inorganic layers (to) and organic layers (to). The invention relates to an active-matrix image display device that comprises an array of light emitters. Each light emitter is controlled by a current modulator having a particular trip threshold voltage. The device also includes compensation means for compensating for the trip threshold voltage of the modulators. These compensation means comprise at least one operational amplifier connected between the gate electrode and the source electrode of the modulator. The feedback of this operational amplifier compensates for the trip threshold voltage of at least one modulator whatever the value of the said voltage.
