A method and a device are provided for fastening a printing plate to a plate cylinder of a rotary printing machine. The printing plate has first and second ends to be accommodated in a clamping gap in a circumferential surface of the plate cylinder at least approximately parallel to an axis of rotation of the plate cylinder. The first end is inserted into the clamping gap. An edge of the printing plate is bent over in a region of the first end at an edge of the clamping gap. The printing plate is wound onto the circumferential surface until the second end comes to lie over the clamping gap. The second end is pressed into the clamping gap and deforms the printing plate so that the second end blocks the first end in the clamping gap.

Method and device for fastening a printing plate to a plate cylinder of a rotary printing machine

A device for fastening printing forms (10) on printing form cylinders (1) of rotary printing presses. The printing forms (10) extend into a clamping channel (3) with their leading edge (12) and their trailing edge (13) and are tensioned therein, via clamping elements, on the lateral surface (2) of the printing form cylinder (1) in a circumferential direction of the printing form cylinder (1) and retained in the clamping channel (3). The clamping elements are accommodated on a tensioning shaft (6) which is rotatably inserted in a bore of the printing form cylinder (1). The clamping elements are designed as spring elements (16, 27) in Y-shape (21), including a first and a second resilient section (17, 19).

Device for cleaning cylinder bearers of rotary printing-unit cylinders having cylinder bearers mounted at respective end faces of at least two of the cylinders for attaining a defined spacing between respective axes of the two cylinders, the cylinder bearers being rotatable with the two cylinders, respectively, and being rollable on one another while being in continuous contact with one another, includes at least one cleaning element movable into engagement with a bearing surface of one of the cylinder bearers, respectively, by a pressure medium, and movable away from the bearing surface, the cleaning element being impregnatable with a fluid.
