A headlamp with a light source, a power module to generate power for the light source from control information or a control signal, a control module for adjusting the power generated by the light source. The control module has a light sensor for sensing light from the environment of the lamp holder. The control module generates control information according to the information generated by the light sensor. The control module has an accelerometer to provide at regular intervals data representative of an acceleration of the headlamp along at least one horizontal axis and one vertical axis. The control module stores and processes accelerometry data. The control module includes a LUT lookup table stored in memory. The parameter read from the LUT lookup table is used in conjunction with information generated by the light sensor to determine the light output control information or signal.

Headlamp comprising improved dynamic lighting

A portable lamp, such as a headlamp, comprising wireless bidirectional communication means for exchanging configuration instructions, parameters and/or data with at least one mobile information processing system. This mobile processing system establishes a downlink for the transmission of said configuration instructions, parameters and/or data to the lamp. The lamp can establish an uplink for the transmission of configuration instructions, parameters and/or data from the lamp to said mobile information processing system.

Portable electric lamp with a system of wireless communication

A headlamp with a light source, an electrical power source and several states controlling power sources and light beams is presented. The first state corresponds to at least one activated state in which the electrical power source is coupled to a light source to generate a light beam. The second state corresponds to a deactivated state where the electrical power source is not coupled to a light source and no light beam is generated. The third state corresponds to a locked state in which the electrical power source is not coupled to a light source and no light beam is generated; Also included is a switching mechanism to receive a first and a second physical user input through one switching element. A processor is coupled to the switching mechanism and is used to select one among the first, second and third states in response to the physical user inputs.

Portable lamp comprising an improved locking mechanism

A portable electric lamp including a lighting module, a compact housing enclosing an electric power storage unit configured to provide a power supply current to the lighting module, means for measuring a current consumed by the lighting module, determination means configured to generate a lighting current set point, calculation means for calculating a maximum authorized current from a difference between the consumed current and a reference current and for calculating a maximum authorized current threshold from the minimum value between the lighting current set point and the maximum authorized current, and limiting means configured to limit the power supply current to a value lower than or equal to the maximum authorized current threshold.
