The present disclosure relates to method and system for detecting improvised explosive devices or the like. According to the present disclosure, the method is of the image-correlation type and involves continuously delivering current images representative of said path followed by a vehicle, in replacing some of said current images with pre-recorded earlier images taken at the same point, and in displaying said current images and said replacement earlier images in succession in order to detect said explosive devices.

The present disclosure relates to a motor-driven unit for clearing mines from and securing a hazardous route. According to the present method, system and device, a marker apparatus for a secured route is a liquid material for marking on the ground, and comprising dispensing members for providing one axial marking and two side markings on either side of said axial marking, respectively, for said route.

A device for protecting an optical system against the excess luminosity of an incident light beam. The device forms first and second light beams from an incident light beam. A mirror reflects the first beam which is then guided toward the optical system. The mirror includes a reflecting layer capable of being ablated, at least locally, when it is subjected to high luminous intensity. The second beam initiates the ablation process of the reflecting layer, which is continued and completed by the joint action of the first and second light beams.

Device for protecting an optical system against excess luminosity

A device placed by a support in front of the eyes of a user protects them against luminous aggression, in particular by a laser beam. The device includes a light attenuation system to attenuate the intensity of the received beam by a particular attenuation value. A light amplification system is disposed between the light attenuation system and the eyes of the user to amplify the intensity of the light received from the light attenuation system by a particular amplification value, but such that the intensity of the light transmitted towards the eyes does not exceed a prescribed maximal intensity that is not harmful for the eyes. The attenuation and amplification values are substantially equal.
