An autonomous underwater base for handling an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) equipped with seismic sensors for recording seismic signals during a marine seismic survey. The autonomous underwater base includes a storing module configured to store the AUV; an inlet/outlet module configured to control access of the AUV to the storing module; and a control module having a positioning system configured to adjust a position of the base in water. The positioning system autonomously drives the storing module from a first position to a second position underwater.

Method and system for launching and recovering underwater vehicles with an autonomous base

Method and support assembly configured to change from a stowing position to an operational position. The support assembly includes a head module; an actuator attached to the head module; a tail module; plural modules provided between the head module and the tail module to form a first branch and a second branch, each branch being connected between the head module and the tail module; and a cable system provided through the means for guiding of the plural modules and connected to the actuator for being wind up and unwind to change a distribution of the modules from an operational position to a stowed position.

Method and foldable support assembly

A method and a marine front-end gear for connecting a set of streamers to a towing vessel. The front-end gear includes ropes for connecting a first sub-set of streamers to the vessel; lead-ins for connecting a second sub-set of streamers to the vessel; and a back loop cable electrically connected between tails of first and second adjacent streamers. The first streamer belongs to the first sub-set of streamers and the second streamer belongs to the second sub-set of streamers, and streamers of the first sub-set are interspersed with streamers of the second sub-set.
