Optical fiber distribution enclosure (), comprising a housing base () and a housing cover (), engageable with each other to form a housing of the enclosure (), a slack fiber storage device (), arranged within the housing when the housing base () and the housing cover () are engaged with each other, a tray holder (), arranged within the housing when the housing base () and the housing cover () are engaged with each other, on which tray holder () one or more fiber-optic trays () can be mounted, characterized in that the housing base (), the slack fiber storage device () and the tray holder () are integrally formed as one piece.

Optical fibre distribution enclosure

An enclosure for receiving at least one telecommunication cable comprises a housing () at least one portion () of which is configured for the passage of a cable () into/out of the enclosure. The housing portion () is repositionable to change the direction of passage of the cable relative to the housing. A sealing assembly () is provided that is split lengthwise whereby it can be fitted to the cable () after the cable has been passed into/out of the housing. A removable organizer unit () is also provided, for use in the housing (), which offers storage () for slack cable () and for splice trays (). Following removal from the housing, the organizer unit () can be supported on the housing () in a 'work bench' position.

Enclosure for telecommunications cables, with removable organizer

A watertight inlet device for inserting a cable containing optical fibers into a chamber or a container, e.g. into a splice box. The device includes a metal solepiece for securing the strength members of the optical cable, and which plugs into and fixes to a tubular sealing body equipped with an external O-ring gasket and having its rear portion shaped to form a sealing stuffing box on the outer sheath of the cable. The rear of the nut of the stuffing box receives a clamp for retaining the cable. Once the device has been fitted, the resulting assembly is inserted into the inlet passageway until it abuts against a shoulder in the passageway. Then only the head of the securing solepiece and a groove in the body project inside the container, the groove then receiving a key or fork for retaining the assembly.

Optical fiber cable inlet device

An optical fiber organizer and a box for receiving it. The inlets for the optical cables project side-by-side in row abreast from the same short side of the box bottom. The organizer includes a pedestal which receives, in nested manner, stackable modules for holding cassettes. The pedestal is made of a plastics material and has an outside shape that is rounded. A transit empty space is provided before the pedestal for the purpose of passing the fibers, and a storage empty space is provided after the pedestal for the purpose of storing standby fibers.
