A camera for observing the inside of a shielded cell comprises a support provided with a spring in the form of a gripper for mounting it on a remote- manipulation arm performing the task to be observed, by means of another arm, exerting solely a force for opening the branches of the spring, after which the camera is properly held, while being able to be removed without difficulty. A stop means is added in order to provide the correct angular position of the camera while preventing its support from turning about the arm, and thus making it possible to position it correctly by other remote-manipulation means.

A uniaxial press for shaping pellets by compressing powder in a die by punches. The uniaxial press can be used in a restricted and hostile environment and includes small modules that can pass separately through narrow openings, the modules being assembled by placing over columns and by screwing, therefore by remote handling in the confined space where the press is to operate without requiring any further intervention. The actuation is generally exclusively electromechanical.

A mechanical device for supporting and attaching at least one ionizing radiation detection probe. For each detection probe it includes one probe-holder ending in a collimator-holder able to support a collimator intended to delimit a field of observation of the detection probe, and an attachment device intended to be attached to a glove port of a glove box, where the probe-holder, or each probe-holder, cooperates with the said attachment device.

A filter including multiple tanks connected in series by connecting ducts. In the filter a flow of gaseous flows encounters multiple obstacles in it, an effect of which is efficiently to block constituents with heaviest molecular weight, without substantially hindering diffusion of lighter constituents. This may be obtained by internal baffles, or by a bank of finer ducts, for example at an inlet of the filter. Such a filter may find application to separation of hydrogen and radon produced by nuclear waste.

An apparatus including a flange topped by a fitting including a trap adapted to seize and drive a lid of a barrel for opening the same and two inflatable gaskets equipping the flange and the trap that are inflated for clamping the container and the lid of the barrel at the connection thereof. Contamination inside the barrel and inside the upper enclosure will only spread over small surfaces of the apparatus between the gaskets and to the connection of both parts of the barrel.
