An air filter has a filter housing having a raw air inlet and further has a filter element arranged in the filter housing. The filter element has a filter medium body and an end disk with a central primary air passage and a secondary air passage. The filter medium body annularly surrounds a longitudinal axis of the filter element and separates a raw side in the filter housing from a clean side inside the filter element. The filter housing has a primary air outlet communicating through the primary air passage with the clean side of the filter element. The filter housing has a secondary air outlet communicating through the secondary air passage with the clean side of the filter element. The secondary air outlet communicates with the secondary air passage through a channel arranged at the filter element, wherein the channel surrounds the primary air passage annularly and coaxially.

A filter element has a filter medium folded in a star shape that surrounds annularly a longitudinal axis of the filter element and is flowed through radially from exterior to interior. The filter element has a primary air passage and a secondary air passage. In the filter medium, a cutout is formed that penetrates a plurality of folds of the filter medium. A passage socket at which the secondary air passage is formed extends through the cutout. An air filter provided with a filter housing having a raw air inlet, a primary air outlet, and a secondary air outlet, has such a filter element that separates in the filter housing a raw side communicating with the raw air inlet from a clean side. The primary air outlet communicates through the primary air passage and the secondary air outlet through the secondary air passage with the clean side, respectively.

A hollow filter element for insertion into an openable filter housing has a filter medium body configured as a hollow body surrounding an inwardly positioned flow space. At least one end disk is connected to the filter medium body and covers an axial end face of the filter medium body. A positioning element is arranged at the at least one end disk and interacts with a housing-associated blade of the filter housing. The positioning element receives the housing-associated blade with form fit in two different transverse directions relative to the longitudinal axis of the filter medium body. The positioning element has a positioning recess.

Hollow filter element, in particular for gas filtration

A round filter element is provided with an elongate filter medium body with a wall structure flowed through by a fluid to be purified in a flow direction radially relative to a longitudinal axis of the filter medium body. A seal support for a sealing element is arranged adjacent to a radially outwardly positioned outer wall of the wall structure of the filter medium body and adjacent to an end face of the filter medium body. The seal support has across a major portion of its circumference a constant radial spacing relative to the outer wall of the wall structure of the filter medium body. The seal support has at least one radially inwardly oriented indentation located at a longitudinal side of the filter medium body and provided with a reduced radial spacing relative to the outer wall of the wall structure of the filter medium body.

Round filter element, in particular for gas filtration

An annular filter element has a filter medium body configured to be flowed through by a fluid to be purified in a radial direction. A sealing element is arranged at the end face of the filter medium body and extends circumferentially around the end face. The sealing element has at least one first sealing section comprising a massive and large cross-sectional area and one or more second sealing sections with a cross-sectional area that is at least partially reduced in comparison to the large cross-sectional area. The one or more second sealing sections include a second sealing section with a groove-type recess, wherein the groove-type recess extends at least approximately across a length of the second sealing section with the groove-type recess or across a portion of said length.

Annular filter element, in particular for gas filtration

A filter element has a curved filter medium body, which at least partially encloses a flow chamber, and a carrier connector that is guided through the filter medium body. The carrier connector is a carrier of a sealing element for sealing the contact with a flow channel, wherein a section of the sealing element is arranged between the carrier connector and the filter medium body.
