The invention pertains to a device () for the rotative scoring of flat printed products in order to prepare a bending line, particularly in a brochure cover that is supplied in the form of a sheet (), with said device featuring at least one pair of scoring tools () that consists of a scoring knife () and an assigned scoring matrix (), with the scoring tools () being arranged on a first and a second scoring shaft () that are arranged parallel to one another and driven in opposite directions, and with said device also featuring at least one pair of transport rollers () that is arranged axially adjacent to the pair of scoring tools () and consists of a first and a second transport roller () that effectively clamp the sheet () between one another with respect to its transport, wherein it is proposed that the first transport roller () is arranged on the first scoring shaft () and the second transport roller () is supported independently of the scoring tools (). The axial spacing of the at least one pair of scoring tools () can be adjusted in accordance with the desired scoring depth without affecting the at least one pair of transport rollers (). The load on the scoring shafts () is significantly reduced because bending due to an excessively narrow adjustment of the transport rollers () is prevented.

Device for the rotative scoring of flat printed products

A book block transport system with a plurality of book block clamps () each having a supporting frame () that is supported in guides and carries an inner clamping jaw () and a pivot frame () that is suspended on a shaft () of the supporting frame () extending parallel thereto for accommodating an outer clamping jaw (). The pivoting movement for opening and closing the outer clamping jaw () is controlled by a cam track, with a spring element () that generates the clamping force between the inner and outer clamping jaws (and). A book stop catch () is carried on the book block clamp () for aligning the book block supplied by an infeed device. In order to reliably and flawlessly transfer and align the book blocks supplied by an infeed device, the book stop catch () is arranged on the book block clamp () such that it can be moved relative to the inner clamping jaw (). Only a small transport gap is required between two successively supplied book blocks such that the book block clamps () are able to transport a larger format height relative to the clamp pitch.

Book block transport system

A device () for transferring continuously transported printing products (), e.g., book blocks, books or sheet stacks consisting of folded and/or non-folded sheets, from an essentially flat lying position into an upright position or vice versa by a conveyor () that is twisted about a longitudinal axis (). A first transporter () with pushers () advances the printing products () during the transfer, and a second transporter (or) has support elements (), on which the printing products () are at least partially supported or lie with their primary surface during the transfer. The invention allows a particularly careful transport of sensitive individual parts or partial products that may even consist of thin individual sheets on the bottom side. A narrow line of support provided by the support elements () suffices for this purpose, wherein this narrow line of support essentially acts upon the product () in one line of action with the respective pusher ().
