The communication device comprises a transceiver, which is designed for communication with a control component of the mobile radio system; a control module, which is coupled to the transceiver and is designed to control the transceiver, wherein the control module is also designed to communicate in a first frequency band in the mobile radio system in order to obtain a configuration of a second frequency band of the mobile radio system for the local wireless communication. The control module is also designed to continue to communicate the configuration for the local wireless communication in the second frequency band to at least one mobile device of the mobile radio system that is close to a vehicle.

The disclosure relates to a method of providing a current local environment status map for a motor vehicle, and to a motor vehicle and a system for carrying out the method. Embodiments create the present method, communication module, vehicle, system, and computer program for authenticating a mobile radio device for a location-specific function of a vehicle. The vehicle comprises a transmitter designed for transmitting mobile radio signals in a mobile radio system and a receiver designed for receiving mobile radio signals in a mobile radio system. Furthermore, a control module designed for controlling the transmitter and the receiver is provided, said control module being coupled to the transmitter and the receiver, and the control module is additionally designed to convert the transmitter from a first mode to a second mode when the vehicle is parked. A method for processing a recognition result of an automatic online speech recognizer for a mobile end device by a communication exchange device, wherein the recognition result for a phrase spoken by a user is received from the online speech recognizer as a text. A language model of permitted phrases is received from the mobile end device. A specification of meaning relating to a meaning of the phrase is assigned to each permitted phrase by the language model, and, through a decision-making logic of the communication exchange device, the text of the recognition result is compared with the permitted phrases defined by the language model and, for a matching permitted phrase in accordance with a predetermined matching criterion, the specification of meaning thereof is determined and the specification of meaning is provided to the mobile end device.

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for checking an onboard speech recognition system of a motor vehicle, wherein, in an online mode, a recognition result of an online speech recognition service, and a recognition result of the onboard speech recognition system, are received for a voice input, and a comparison result of the recognition results is ascertained. A result pattern is received from the onboard speech recognition system for the voice input, and the result pattern, together with the comparison result, is stored in a pattern memory unit. In an offline mode, the recognition result of the onboard speech recognition system and the associated present result pattern are received for a further voice input, and a search for an agreeing, stored recognition situation is carried out based on the present result pattern.
