An electronic element, in particular a chip element, with at least one first magnetoresistive element that is disposed on a substrate and fulfills a sensor function and with at least one second magnetoresistive element that is disposed on the substrate and fulfills a memory function.

With a sensor and method, it is possible for platinum resistor elements to be used advantageously as heating elements, temperature sensors, printed circuit traces, or as chemically resistant electron beam sensitive layers. To ensure a long-lasting adhesion of the platinum resistance layer to a dielectric substrate, even during exposure to temperatures which are elevated over ambient temperature and under dry and most atmospheric conditions, a thin adhesion layer of platinum silicide, for example, is deposited between the platinum resistance layer and the dielectric substrate. Resistor elements patterned from the platinum layer can advantageously be used in temperature sensors, mass flow sensors, chemical sensors, gas sensors, or humidity sensors.

Sensor and method for manufacturing a sensor

A sensor has a membrane, on which at least one resistor element is situated. The membrane has a membrane layer which is composed of a plurality of partial layers. In addition, a covering layer is provided which is composed of a plurality of partial layers. The partial layers of the membrane and the covering layer are selected so that both in the membrane and in the covering layer light tensile stresses are set, the tensile stresses preferably being roughly the same.

Sensor having a membrane

A sensor has a thin film element, the thin film element having a temperature-dependent electrical resistance. The thin film element includes a platinum layer, which is doped with zircon or zircon oxide. The thin film element can be arranged on a membrane to create a mass airflow sensor.

A fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines with a valve member which is displaced in a bore in a valve body by the fuel pressure, counter to the action of a closing spring. The valve body has at a combustion-space end, a valve head which on a side which faces the valve body is arranged a sealing surface which interacts with a valve seat provided on the combustion-space end of the valve body, forming a sealing cross section, and including injection apertures which permit a flow of fuel from a pressure space in the valve body to the combustion space of the internal combustion engines and has an aperture cross section which can be varied as a function of the stroke of the valve member. According to the invention, those parts which seal off the injection valve from the outside and those parts which form the aperture cross section of the injection openings are geometrically separated from one another, the sealing cross section which closes the valve off from the outside being arranged downstream, as seen in the injection direction, of the variable aperture cross section, which is situated radially to the inside.

Fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines

The invention relates to an injection nozzle for a diesel injection system in motor vehicles, having at least one spray passage penetrating an injection nozzle and to a process for manufacturing the injection nozzle. The invention provides for the injection nozzle to be formed from two parts which engage with one another as a form-fit and are in contact on generated surfaces and for the spray passages to be configured as open-edged depressions on at least one of the generated surfaces.

In a mass flow sensor having a frame of monocrystalline silicon and a membrane fixed therein, a heating element and, if indicated, temperature-measuring elements are provided on the membrane. A heat-conducting element, which extends from the membrane across the frame, is provided in the edge area of the membrane. The heating element, the heat-conducting element and, if indicated, temperature-measuring elements are patterned out of a single metal layer.

Mass flow sensor

In a measuring element for a flow sensor and a method for manufacturing the measuring element, a heater, a temperature sensor, and a printed circuit trace are patterned out of a platinum layer. Furthermore, an interconnection region is used for contacting the measuring chip with bonding wires. An additional metal layer is provided for the interconnection region.
