A pigment mixture comprising at least two or three interference pigments of different interference colours selected from the colours red, green and blue, suitable for use in paints, coatings, printing inks, security printing inks, plastics, ceramic materials, glasses and in the preparation of pigment preparations, dry preparations and in particular cosmetic formulations.

The present invention relates to interference pigments based on transparent, low-refractive-index, flake-form substrates which have a high-refractive-index coating consisting of TiOhaving a layer thickness of 20-200 nm and optionally an outer protective layer, and to the use thereof in paints, coatings, printing inks, security printing inks, plastics, button pastes, ceramic materials, glasses, for seed coloring, as dopants in the laser marking of plastics and papers, as additive for the laser welding of plastics, as additive for coloring in the foods and pharmaceuticals sectors, and in cosmetic formulations and for the preparation of pigment compositions and dry preparations.

The present invention relates to a process for printing multicoloured printed images in which exclusively interference pigments are used for the coloured pigmentation of the printing inks, to printed products produced using a process of this type, to the use thereof, and to suitable interference pigments.

The present invention relates to interference pigments based on multicoated flake-form substrates which have on the surface of the substrate a layer sequence comprising (A0) optionally a high-refractive-index coating consisting of a layer of TiO, (A) a high-refractive-index coating consisting of a mixture of TiOand FeO, which may optionally be doped with one or more further oxides, (B) a high-refractive-index layer consisting of SnO, (C) a high-refractive-index coating which absorbs in the visible wavelength region, and optionally (D) an outer protective layer, and to the use thereof, in particular in paints, coatings, industrial coatings, automobile paints, automotive refinish paints, coil coating, powder coatings, printing inks, plastics, pigment pastes, pigment preparations and in dry preparations, such as, for example, granules.

The present invention relates to silver-colored luster pigments based on multiply coated platelet-shaped substrates, which has at least one layer sequence of TiO, a colorless coating and another TiOlayer. The pigment can optionally have an outer protective layer. These luster pigments are useful and to the use thereof in paints, coatings, printing inks, including security printing inks, plastics, ceramic materials, glasses, cosmetic formulations and for producing pigment preparations and dry product forms such as granules, chips, pellets and briquettes.
