A touch-enabled device establishes a two-way connection with a computing device through a network. The computing device has a content authoring program stored therein. Further, the touch-enabled device displays a navigation menu. In addition, the touch-enabled device receives an input indicating a selected item from the navigation menu. The touch-enabled device sends the selected item to the computing device such that the computing device utilizes the selected item in the content authoring program. Further, the touch-enabled device receives, from the computing device, an indication that the computing device is utilizing the selected item in the content authoring program.

Touch-enabled device navigation system

One exemplary embodiment involves receiving an input on a device, the input comprising at least one of an amount of pressure applied to the device against a computing device, a click of a physical button associated with the device, or a movement of the device against the computing device. The embodiment also includes transmitting the received input to the computing device via a wireless transceiver associated with the device. Additionally, the embodiment includes causing a plurality of actions to be performed on the computing device based at least in part on the received input.

Multifunctional stylus

A virtual canvas is displayed at a graphical user interface of a touch-enabled device, a virtual canvas. A plurality of color indicia is displayed. A first input that selects a first selected color from the plurality of color indicia is received. A first positional input indicating a first position at which the first selected color is displayed is also received. A second input that selects a second selected color from the plurality of color indicia is received. A second positional input indicating a second position at which the second selected color is displayed is received at the virtual canvas. A mixed color based on first selected color and the second selected color is generated if the first position overlaps the second position. The mixed color is sent from the touch-enabled device to a computing device through a network.

Methods, software and a system for providing an efficient layout of digital content are presented. A plurality of digital content is received and rendered in a plurality of layouts. Each of the plurality of layouts comprises the plurality of digital content arranged in a plurality of cells within the layout. The white space area is calculated a white space area for each of the plurality of layouts. The white space area comprises a cumulative area calculated from an area within each of the cells not contained by the respective digital content. A layout is selected, from the plurality of layouts, for rendering within a layout region, based on the white space area.
