By the installation of elastic elements between a rocket and a retaining sleeve (or, respectively, a retaining sleeve and a launching device, or within a launching device), peak loads are reduced and breakage of a connecting member or, respectively, of the parts of the retaining sleeve corresponding to this connecting member is avoided.

Rocket retainer in a launching device

Self-erecting mines are known in which unfoldable erecting elements are articulated to the lower end of the mine body. When the mine body has reached the ground in some position, the erecting elements are unfolded to erect the mine body. The purpose of the invention is to prevent the erected mine body from toppling over under the influence of laterally directed forces. According to the invention, the erecting elements are lockable in the unfolded state so that they cannot fold up again. As a result, the effective supporting surface of the mine body is increased.

Self-erecting mine

By replacing a round sensor wire capable of effecting, by the formation of a spiral spring, the righting of a sensor wire on a mine after laying by a wire having a rectangular cross section wherein the larger sides of the rectangle of the cross-sectional area of the sensor wire form essentially a right angle with a radius vector of the cylindrical supporting member, the righting force of the sensor wire is considerably enhanced as compared with a round wire although the wire still remains sufficiently elastic to be windable around the mine without permanent deformation.

A process for the manufacture of a launching tube with an internal guide surface for effecting controlled spin missiles, such as rockets, wherein the launching tube is provided on the inside with helically extending grooves and/or ridges contacting guide cams or the like of the missiles for guiding therealong; this launching tube is extruded, and sized, from a molding composition containing fiber-reinforced thermoplastic synthetic resin, to have integrally formed, slightly helically extending grooves and/or ridges.

Process for the manufacture of a launching tube for missiles

A practice ammunition system for a rocket launcher having a guide tube for receiving an original rocket, the original rocket including an ignition device which, prior to launch, performs a data exchange via at least one data line with an external fire control unit for the rocket launcher. The practice ammunition system includes a practice rocket having a rocket engine and an igniter for igniting the rocket engine thereof, the practice rocket being insertable in the guide tube of the rocket launcher, a simulator external to the practice rocket arranged for connection with the practice rocket and the fire control unit with the external simulator, after connection with the training rocket and the fire control unit, simulating functions of the ignition device of the original rocket for performing a data exchange dwith the fire control unit and for enabling launching of the practice rocket from the rocket launcher.
