An electric motor of an AC-operated, handheld power tool, with a stator that has multiple windings that are accommodated in a laminated stator core and are electrically insulated therefrom with basic insulation, in which stator a rotor is supported so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation, wherein the rotor has a rotor shaft on which a laminated rotor core with a multiplicity of permanent magnets is held, which laminated rotor core is electrically insulated from the rotor shaft, characterized in that the stator is enclosed by a motor housing that is electrically insulated from the windings of the stator, and in that a supplementary electrical insulation is formed between the motor housing and the rotor shaft.

An EC motor is provided having a stator, in which an armature is rotatably supported, the armature including an armature shaft, on which an armature core having a plurality of permanent magnets is held, the armature core being electrically insulated against the armature shaft with the aid of a casting compound, and a balance ring being provided on at least one axial end of the armature core, which is accommodated on the armature shaft by a central recess, a gap between the armature shaft and the central recess of the balance ring being filled with casting compound, and the permanent magnets being held in pockets of the armature core by casting compound.

Method for manufacturing an armature for an EC motor

An electric motor, in particular a motor which can be commutated electronically, is disclosed. The motor comprises a stator with a plurality of field windings which are wound at least in places from a winding wire, and further comprises a contact grid for making contact with the field windings, which contact grid has a plurality of conductor tracks which are insulated from one another, with the conductor tracks having contacts to which the winding wire is fixed, wherein the winding wire is cut through between specific contacts such that this results in the field windings being connected in a manner which is suitable for generating a rotating field when being powered by a suitable motor controller.

An electric motor-driven screw driving or drilling tool device with a planetary gear, comprising a ring gear and planet wheels mating with the ring gear, wherein the ring gear can be locked and fixed relative to the housing via locking bodies which are pretensioned by springs in a radially inward direction, the locking bodies being radially outwardly displaceable when a switch-off torque has been exceeded, such that the ring gear can be rotated relative to the housing, and the drive shaft is no longer driven. In order to improve the ease of operation of the device and reduce its size, the invention proposes leaf springs which extend in the peripheral direction of the ring gear, whose lever arm lengths can be adjusted in a peripheral direction to generate different bending forces acting on a respective locking body.
