Triazinyl compounds with herbicidal activity

The invention relates to compounds of formula ##STR1## wherein W, X, Y.sup.1, Y.sup.2, Z, R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.14 are as defined in the description, and to the preparation thereof, to weed control compositions and plant-growth-regulating compositions comprising such compounds as active ingredients, and to the use of the active ingredients or compositions for controlling weeds and for regulating plant growth.

Heterocyclic compounds

Pyrimidinyl- and triazinyl-salicylamides of the formula I ##STR1## in which the meanings of the radicals are described in claim 1, and the salts of compounds of the formula I which have a free hydroxycarbonyl group have a herbicidal and plant-growth regulating action. They are suitable as active substances in weed killers and in compositions for positively influencing the growth of crop plants.

Pyrimidinyl- and triazinyl-salicylamides and their use and preparation

The invention is concerned with novel compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 signifies optionally substituted phenyl or pyridyl, R.sup.2 signifies substituted phenyl, X signifies oxygen, sulfur or NR.sup.3, Y signifies oxygen or sulfur and R.sup.3 signifies methyl, halomethyl or 2-propynyl, and their manufacture, pest control compositions which contain said compounds as the active ingredient and the use of the active substances or compositions for the control of pests.

The invention is concerned with novel triazole derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is optionally substituted phenyl and R.sup.2 signifies substituted phenyl, as more precisely defined in the description, and R.sup.3 is halogen, methyl or halomethyl, and their acid addition salts, processes for their preparation, pest control compositions which contain these compounds as the active substance, as well as methods of use of such compounds or compositions for the control of pests.

The invention is concerned with novel heterocyclic compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are as hereinafter set forth, and their acid addition salts, processes for the preparation of these compounds, pest control compositions which contain these compounds as the active substance, as well as the methods of use of such compounds or compositions for the control of pests.

1,2,4-Triazole compounds

Heterocyclic compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and X are as defined hereinafter, process for their preparation, as well as pesticidal compositions containing these compounds as the active ingredient and methods for using the pesticidal compositions for the control of pests are described.

5-Oxo-3-thiazoline oxime and 2-oxo-5,6-dihydro-2H-1,4-thiazine oxime

Heterocyclic compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein A is a group ##STR2## and R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and X are as defined hereinafter, process for their preparation, as well as pesticidal compositions containing one or more of these compounds as the active ingredient and methods for using the pesticidal compositions for the control of pests, particularly insects, mites and nematodes, are described.

Carbamoyl-oxime compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein A, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are as hereinafter set forth, a process for their preparation, pesticidal compositions containing one or more of these compounds as the active ingredient, methods of use of such compositions for the control of pests, particularly insects, mites, nematodes and molluscs, and intermediates for the production of such compounds are described.
