Gear arrangement for a vehicle, in particular for a vehicle which can be driven using muscular force, such as a bicycle. The gear arrangement has a housing, an input shaft, layshaft, an output shaft which can be connected to a drive wheel of the vehicle. A plurality of shiftable first gear wheel sets connect the input shaft and the layshaft and are each associated with at least one gear stage. A machine gear which is connected or can be connected to one of the shafts and into which the drive torque of an electric machine can be introduced. The first gear wheel sets form a first part-gear mechanism, wherein at least one second shiftable gear wheel set connects the layshaft and the output shaft and forms a second part-gear mechanism. The at least one second gear wheel set is associated with at least one gear stage. The housing defines a cooling fluid sump.

Gear arrangement and drive unit

A crank transmission having a crankshaft for connection to at least one foot or hand crank and at least one gear wheel driven by means of the crankshaft () is proposed. A coupling unit is provided between the crankshaft and the gear wheel. Under load, the coupling unit has at least temporarily an angular offset between a crank-side receiving region and an output region connected to the gear wheel for receiving and outputting the torque generated via the crank.

The transmission unit has one through shaft and one output shaft, as well as at least two sub-transmissions and at least one intermediate shaft. In the transmission unit at least one of the intermediate shafts and the output shaft is formed as a hollow shaft which is arranged coaxially to another shaft of the transmission unit.

The shifting device has a first partial transmission and a second partial transmission, which are connected in series for power transmission. The selecting devices of the first partial transmission are designed as selectable free-running clutches and the second partial transmission has a plurality of selectable gear stages. During shifting from a highest stage of the gear stages of the first partial transmission to a lowest stage of the gear stages of the first partial transmission, the free-running clutches of the two gear stages are actuated simultaneously, and a load change between the corresponding free-running clutches allows a shifting operation of the second partial transmission to a higher stage of the gear stages.

The present invention relates to a transmission unit for a vehicle driven by muscle force, comprising an input shaft which can be connected to cranks on opposite sides for driving the vehicle, comprising a first partial transmission. The first partial transmission comprises a countershaft, wherein a plurality of driving gear wheels is mounted on the input shaft, and wherein a corresponding plurality of driven gear wheels of the first partial transmission is mounted on the partial transmission shaft. The driven gear wheels of the first partial transmission are designed as idler gears that can be connected to the countershaft by means of shifting means in a rotationally rigid manner. The countershaft forms an input shaft of a second partial transmission. A plurality of second drive wheels are mounted on the output shaft, wherein the second partial transmission comprises an output shaft, on which a corresponding plurality of second driven gear wheels are mounted.
