A track measuring vehicle for recording a track geometry of a track includes a vehicle frame which has rail undercarriages and is mobile on two rails of a track. The vehicle also includes a first measuring base on which are arranged an inertial measuring unit and, for a position determination relative to each rail, at least one contact-less position measuring device. A lowerable second measuring base has measuring running wheels designed to be set upon the rails and is connected to the first measuring base via compensation measuring devices.

Track measuring vehicle and method for recording a track geometry of a track

An on-track work or rescue vehicle for fire-fighting and/or the rescue of persons in tunnels or subway tubes has a drive which can be operated for at least a limited duration without ambient air. A liquid tank is arranged on the work or rescue vehicle. A fan blower with a fluid spraying device is connected to the liquid tank for producing a spray mist. The work or rescue vehicle is a traction vehicle for pulling or pushing other rail vehicles. A work or rescue vehicle of this type can move to a fire source under the protection of the spray mist blown into the tunnel or subway tube and, if required, pull or push a damaged rail vehicle from a danger zone.

On-track work- or rescue vehicle

A rail vehicle having a vehicle frame supported on on-track undercarriages and a hydraulic drive system powered by a motor. The drive system comprises a hydrodynamic drive associated with a first on-track undercarriage as well as a hydrostatic drive associated with a second on-track undercarriage. With the latter is associated a drive pump connected to a drive motor. The motor is designed for a higher power output than is necessary for the operation of the hydrodynamic drive. A pump distribution gear is switched between the motor and the hydrodynamic drive, via which the drive pump of the hydrostatic drive can be connected. This takes place in dependence on a friction value &#x3bc; between the rail and wheel.

Rail vehicle and a method for operation of a rail vehicle

The invention relates to a measuring device () for recording a track geometry of a track () immediately after a treatment of the track () by means of track maintenance machine (), wherein the measuring device comprises wheel axles () for travelling on the track (), connecting elements () for mounting to the track maintenance machine () and a data interface () for exchanging data with the track maintenance machine (). Further, the measuring device () comprises an assembly frame () on which an inertial measuring unit () is arranged, wherein a front wheel axle () and a rear wheel axle () are mounted on the assembly frame () for rotation relative to one another about an axis of rotation () extending orthogonally to the wheel axles (). Thus, an efficient check measurement of the lateral, longitudinal and vertical position of the track () is possible.
