In some examples, a computing device can include a memory resource storing instructions to cause a processor resource to disassemble a compiled executable of a native operational environment into assembly-based instructions, map each assembly-based instruction to a corresponding module of a target operational environment, and generate an executable for the target operational environment using the mapped modules of the target operational environment.

According to aspects of the present disclosure, a system, method, and storage medium comprising a plurality of sensors communicatively coupled to a microcontrol unit (MCU) wherein the MCU controls the transition between operational states. The MCU receives a system-related datum from one of the plurality of sensors. The MCU determines a control action based on the system-related datum. The MCU executes the control action on the system. The MCU sends a state change datum to a firmware wherein the state change datum indicates an operational change of the system based on the control action.

A computing device is disclosed. The computing device includes a central processing unit and a mass storage bus. The central processing unit includes an application processing unit and an immutable encryption key for use with the encryption of data and the decryption of data. The application processing unit includes an instruction set to perform an encryption of data and a decryption of data stored via the mass storage bus. The immutable encryption key stored in the central processing unit and inaccessible from outside of the instruction set.

Examples associated with keyboard emulation are described. One example system includes an input/output controller. The system also includes a remote signal receiver. A control module receives a first signal via the remote signal receiver. Based on the first signal, the control module communicates with the input/output controller to emulate a keyboard input.

In an example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a system comprising a sensor, a multimedia presentation device, and a controller. The controller may be configured to receive telemetry from the multimedia device and receive a multimedia capture from the sensor. The controller compares the multimedia capture to a control element and determines a relationship between the telemetry and the comparison. Based on the determination, the controller adjusts the configuration of the multimedia presentation device.

An example method includes capturing, at a device driver level of a virtual machine, a component for which to provide remote access. An example system for determining a device wear-rate can include a plurality of filter drivers to: monitor system requests for I/O associated with a device of the system and transmit information associated with the system requests to a filter manager. The system can also include the filter manager to catalog the information, a service to collate the information across a plurality of machine configurations and workloads, and a processor to determine a wear-rate of the device based on an analysis of the collated information.

A cloud computing system including a cloud-based system in communication with a client system including an application gateway that receives from a client application, a request for services associated with a workload and a plurality of cloud-based application services, the plurality of cloud-based application services in operable communication with the application gateway. The system also includes a cloud-based tuning service in operable communication with the cloud-based application services and the application gateway, the cloud-based tuning service identifies a set of application requirements needed to fulfill the request, the cloud-based tuning service coordinating with a client-based tuning service and the application gateway to assign selected application services to fulfill the request, wherein the assignment of selected application services includes assigning at least a portion of the services associated with the workload the client system.

A method related to authenticating a device may include accessing a plurality of hash values, wherein the plurality of hash values corresponds to a plurality of passwords of a plurality of devices. The method may also include generating a hash value corresponding to the device and authenticating the device by providing the plurality of hash values and the hash value to an authentication system.

Examples associated with credentialed encryption are described. One example method includes receiving an encryption request from a local process via a secure channel. The encryption request includes a credential associated with the local process. Whether the local process is authorized to access an encryption function is verified using the credential. The encryption function specified in the encryption request is performed using a security key unique to a system performing the method. A result of the encryption function is provided to the local process.

An example electronic device for conducting conference calls includes a memory to store a user profile including first identifying information of a first participant in a conference call. A receiver receives second identifying information of the first participant from a transmitting device associated with the first participant. The first identifying information and the second identifying information form an identifier for the first participant. An audio encoder receives an audio signal. A processor, in response to determining which transmitting device is nearest to a source of the audio signal relative to other transmitting devices, identifies the first participant as a source of the audio signal, and combines the identifier for the first participant with the audio signal generated by the first participant. A router forwards the combined identifier and audio of the first participant to a receiving device of a second participant in the conference call.

A set of computers can be grouped into a first group and second group of computers to receive a file object. The first group of computers are commanded to perform a peer-to-peer download of the file object from a source. The second group of computers are commanded to perform a peer-to-peer download of the file object from a computer in the first group of computers.

Example implementations relate to gateway devices coupled to a connection point device. A system can include a first gateway device communicatively coupled to a connection point device and a second gateway device. The second gateway device can be communicatively coupled to the connection point device and the first gateway device and can take control of a portion of the connection point device in response to a failure of the first gateway device.
