A camera device for localizing an optical marker is provided that has at least one image sensor and a control and evaluation unit. A first camera channel for recording first image data having the optical marker is formed from the image sensor and the control and evaluation unit. The control and evaluation unit is configured to locate the optical marker in the first image data and to determine a first pose of the optical marker relative to the camera device. A second camera channel for recording second image data having the optical marker is formed from the image sensor and the control and evaluation unit. The control and evaluation unit is configured to locate the optical marker in the second image data, to determine a second pose of the optical marker relative to the camera device, and to compare the first pose and the second pose with one another.

Localizing an optical marker

The present invention relates to an augmented reality system (AR system) for teaching a user of an application. The AR system comprises a detection unit that detects a real environment and provides it as environmental data, wherein at least one work unit is arranged in the environment; a communication unit that receives process data from the work unit; a control unit that processes the process data and environmental data, wherein a virtual image can be created based on the process data; and a display unit that displays the real environment and the virtual image in relation to one another to a user. The AR system further comprises an audio output unit that, on the basis of the process data, outputs audio signals for instructing a user, wherein the audio signals are preferably matched to the virtual image.

A safety system for localizing a person or object has a control and evaluation unit, at least one radio location system, and at least one spatially resolving sensor for the position determination of the person or object. The radio location system has arranged radio stations, wherein at least one radio transponder is arranged at the person or object. Position data and classification data of the person or object can be determined by means of the radio location system. The position data and the classification data can be transmitted from the radio station to the control and evaluation unit and position data and contour data of the person or object can be determined by means of the spatially resolving sensor. The control and evaluation unit is configured to compare the position data of the radio location system and the position data of the spatially resolving sensor.

Safety system and method

A method of protecting humans in an environment of a moving machine is provided that comprises the environment being monitored by means of a protective device that is configured to detect one or more kinematic parameters of a respective object located in the environment and controlling the moving machine in dependence on detected kinematic parameters of the respective object to initiate a protective measure. The protective equipment here detects the polarization properties and a movement modulation of the respective object in dependence on which the respective object is classified with respect to whether the respective object is a human. In particular only when the respective object was classified as a human, the protective equipment controls the moving machine to initiate the protective measure in dependence on detected kinematic parameters of this respective object.
