Provided is a method, a device and a positioning system for positioning a sensor at an optimized position for optimized monitoring of a technical system. The method includes providing a physical simulation model of the technical system, wherein the physical simulation model includes a virtual sensor at a given position, simulating a performance of the technical system by the physical simulation model, providing a response signal of the virtual sensor to the simulated performance at the given position, determining a first optimized position for the virtual sensor where the response signal is intensified by an optimization algorithm, and providing co-ordinates of the first optimized position for positioning a physical sensor at the technical system.

For detecting a cyber-attack on a machine controller, a concurrent simulation of the machine is run in a secured access domain. From the machine controller actual control data are transmitted to the machine and resulting monitoring data are transmitted to a monitoring device. Furthermore, sensor data of the machine are transmitted to the concurrent simulation on a first secured transmission path. Based on the sensor data, the concurrent simulation simulates an operational behavior of the machine, thus inferring simulated monitoring data. The simulated monitoring data are then compared with the resulting monitoring, and an alarm signal is triggered depending on the comparison.

Method and system for detecting a cyber-attack on a machine controller

A device for compensating for vibration and/or material stress of a component of a high-voltage system filled with a viscous medium includes a piston and a housing. A first end piece of the piston may be coupled to the component of the system. A second end piece of the piston may be at least partly within the housing and enclosed thereby, enabling movement of the piston and the housing in opposite directions along an axis. The second end piece may be coupled to an inner wall of the housing by at least one spring. The piston and the housing are surrounded by the medium filling the system. An aircraft that includes a helicopter drone on which a 3D scanner is mounted via an actively rotatable joint is provided. The 3D scanner has at least one high-resolution camera for recording a multiplicity of overlapping images of the object from different recording positions and recording directions, so that comparison of the images allows a position and orientation of the 3D scanner relative to the object to be ascertained. In addition, the aircraft has a coordination device for coordinated control of the 3D scanner, the joint and the helicopter drone. The system for damage analysis has an aircraft and an image processing module generating a data representation of a surface profile of the object on the basis of the recorded images. In addition, the system includes a rating device for checking the surface profile and for outputting a damage statement on the basis of the check.
