A drain ball valve for an aircraft tank. Particular embodiments find use in connection with aircraft waste tanks. The drain ball valve has an upper shell that is shaped to be received within a tank drain plumbing line. The drain ball valve has a lower shell shaped to receive a funnel and/or a bellow component in order to help direct waste or other fluids exiting the tank.

A plumbing adapter for use in connecting two plumbing interfaces to one another. The plumbing adapter, which is configured to move between multiple positions in order to accommodate any misalignment between the two plumbing interfaces, comprises a base frame () supporting an inner ring () and an outer ring (), wherein the inner ring () inner diameter defines a first central longitudinal axis (), wherein the outer ring () inner diameter defines a second central longitudinal axis (), wherein the inner ring and the outer ring are both rotatable within the base frame such that the first central longitudinal axis () and the second central longitudinal axis () can be moved with respect to one another in order to accommodate for misalignment between the first plumbing interface and the second plumbing interface.

Plumbing adapter

A system designed to separate moisture and waste water particulates from air flow for use in connection with compact vacuum toilet systems. There is provided a separator that both raises the position of the vent port, as well as provides a series of baffles to block and/or to collect and help route any collected moisture. The resulting moisture removal from the compact vacuum toilet system can help improve reliability and function of the system.

Specific examples provide particular use in connection with an aircraft or other vehicle galley, lavatory, or any other location in which waste that requires disposal is generated. The disclosed embodiments may be installed in an initial galley or lavatory, or they may be used to retrofit an existing environment, such that an entire new disposal system or new sink footprint is not required.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to a toilet bidet system for use on a passenger transportation vehicle. In particular, there is described a bidet rinse ring that converts a standalone toilet to a combined toilet and bidet system. Designs find particular use onboard passenger transportation vehicles, such as aircraft. Such systems benefit from efficient space management and generally cannot support a separate toilet and bidet. The bidet rinse ring described herein may come factory-mounted on the toilet. In other examples, the bidet rinse ring may replace a standard rinse ring in order to retrofit an existing toilet.

A toilet bidet system for use on a passenger transportation vehicle. In particular, there is described a bidet rinse ring that converts a standalone toilet to a combined toilet and bidet system. Embodiments of the present invention provide a grey water flush system for use with vacuum toilets. One embodiment of the system provides a two-stage flush that uses a transient tank in between the toilet bowl and the main aircraft waste tank, which reduces the noise level associated with the flush process because a lesser vacuum is demanded for the first stage of the flush. Embodiments of the system further capture grey water from a sink basin in a reservoir and use that water in the toilet flush process. There is further provided a lavatory odor removal system option that is activated during the second stage of the flush.

The modular lavatory monument assembly includes first, second, third and fourth walls that cooperate to form an enclosure that defines a lavatory interior, a door positioned on one of the first, second, third, or fourth walls, and an opening on the fourth side that is open to an exterior of the enclosure. A seat is at least partially positioned in the opening. The seat includes a seat back and a seat portion that is pivotal between a storage position and a deployed position. In the deployed position the seat portion extends outside of the opening.

A modular monument assembly configured to be positioned in an aircraft that includes an enclosure that includes a first module and a second module, and a circulation system that is adapted to receive water from a water source. The circulation system includes a circulation line for circulating water, a water heater, a circulation pump, first and second faucets and first and second lines that are in fluid communication with the first and second faucets. The first faucet is positioned in the first module and the second faucet is positioned in the second module.

Modular monument assembly with shared water system

Embodiments of the present invention provide a system to direct water flow through a lavatory and to cleanse grey water through a series of treatment steps. The water may then be re-directed to the faucet for re-use in hand washing or other potable water use or to the toilet for flush water. The treatment steps are altered, depending upon the ultimate use of the water, as flush water need not be treated to the same level as potable water. The system may also function via a cascade of logic commands given by a series of electronic controllers, valves, and sensors which are fine-tuned to supply enough water to each component of the system.
