This disclosure relates to a method for connecting a strand element to a connection element using a re-shaping method, such as a connecting a cable lug. A system is also disclosed which comprises a pair of receiving elements having a front side with a recess and a hollow section. The hollow section is designed to accommodate a press insert having a front side with a recess. The receiving element and the press inserts are arranged in a vice. The system also comprises a clamp having a front side with a recess, which is suitable for receiving the connection element. When a pair of receiving elements is arranged, together with the press insert, around a central region of the connection element, then a re-shaping connection, such as a crimp connection, is produced between the strand element and the connection element.

The disclosure sets out a method for producing an electrical line arrangement by integrally joining a free end of an electrical conductor to a metal component. The method includes reshaping a section of the metal component to form a receiving sleeve, inserting the conductor into the receiving sleeve, attaching a friction welding tool to the receiving sleeve, and moving the friction welding tool relative to the metal component and/or the conductor for generating welding energy for at least partially melting a portion facing the conductor, e.g. an inner wall, the metal component and/or the conductor.

Electric line assembly with direct contacting and method for producing same

A method for producing an electrical line arrangement with an electrical conductor and an electrical contact element to be connected thereto includes preparation of the exposed conductor, affixing of a casing open on its two front sides up to the exposed conductor, and forming of a first firmly bonded connection between the exposed conductor and an interior perimeter section of the casing by friction stir welding, by introducing a reaming tool from one front side into the casing and rotating the tool relative to the casing and to the conductor. Additionally, the method includes forming of a second firmly bonded connection between the casing and the contact element.

Method for producing an electrical line arrangement

A method may be provided for sealing a joining region of an electrical connection assembly, the assembly comprising a cable having a plurality of individual conductors, which are arranged in a holding sleeve of an electrical connection element and which are welded to an end section of the holding sleeve in the joining region, which is formed as a recess. The joining region may be sealed by means of a plug inserted into the joining region at an end face and in an interlocking manner, wherein the plug is adapted to a shape of a friction welding tool, by means of which the individual conductors and the end section of the holding sleeve have previously been welded to each other by friction welding. An electrical connection assembly may also be provided.

The present disclosure pertains to a line connector for permanently connecting two or more electrical lines, with at least one metallic receiving sleeve which partially accommodates one of the lines, which exhibits at least a first through-opening as well as a second through-opening for introducing a welding tool or for introducing the lines, and at least a second compression section located between the through-openings, in which the receiving sleeve can be radially compressed. Furthermore, the present disclosure pertains to an electrical line assembly as well as a process for connecting two or more electrical lines.

Line connector, electrical line assembly and production process for an electrical connection

The present disclosure relates to a process for integrally joining an electrical line to an electric contact part by means of a material bond. An exposed end of the line is inserted into a receiving sleeve of the contact part. Then a friction welding tool is rotated on an open end face of the receiving sleeve for the cohesive connection of the line end with the receiving sleeve. According to the disclosure, a powdery metal filler material is introduced into the receiving sleeve before rotation in such a way that the metal filler material is at least partially arranged between the line end and/or the receiving sleeve and the friction welding tool. Furthermore, the disclosure also concerns an electrical line arrangement which is manufactured with the aid of the metal filler material.
