The invention is a cooling unit for a heat exchanger integrated in an oxygenator for the purpose of controlling the temperature of blood conveyed in an extracorporeal blood circuit. The cooling unit has a reservoir in which a liquid is stored, a reaction vessel comprises a reactant and which, in conjunction with the liquid, is able to initiate an endothermal reaction. A fluidic access is generated between the reservoir and the reaction vessel. A fluid line extends at least in part inside the reaction vessel which has an inlet line and outlet line connected to be fluid-tight to a hose system of the heat exchanger.

The invention includes three flushing channels each having a flushing channel longitudinal axis oriented parallel to the rotary shaft, which are distributed evenly around a rotary shaft with each flushing channels including a flushing channel cross-section oriented orthogonally to the rotary shaft. The cross-sections are each kidney-shaped and surround the rotary shaft in sectors.

Blood pump

The invention relates to a fluid analysis module that comprises for blood analysis: a module housing with a fluid inlet port; at least one fluid sensor that is integrated within the module housing and comprises a sensor surface that is able to make a fluidic connection with the fluid inlet port; a chamber integrated within the module housing. The chamber can be brought into a fluidic connection with the sensor surface of the at least one fluid sensor. At least one first liquid reservoir attached within the chamber which is able to be brought into a fluidic connection with the sensor surface of the at least one fluid sensor; and at least one module housing surface, on which an elastic, fluid-tight separating wall that is embodied in membrane-like fashion is attached At least in portions, under a separating wall at least one fluidic functional configured as a flow valve and at least one fluidic functional element configured as a delivery pump is attached so that the fluidic functional elements are operable by local mechanical deformation of the separating wall: a) only deliver fluid from the fluid inlet port into the chamber via the sensor surface and b) only deliver a liquid housed in the liquid reservoir from the liquid reservoir into the chamber via the sensor surface.

Fluid analysis module and fluid analyzer

An implantable fluid pump system is disclosed for supporting or initiating flow inside a hollow organ through which fluid circulates, in particular the heart. The fluid pump system comprises an intracardiac module, which includes two separate fluid channels, each of which possesses an intracardiac fluid channel opening and, located opposite the latter, an extracardiac fluid channel opening, a fastening module, which provides a joining contour for purposes of joining onto the intracardiac module in a fluid-tight manner, and a fastening structure for purposes of intracorporeal fastening onto the hollow organ, and a pump module, which can be mounted in a releasable manner directly or indirectly onto the intracardiac module, and can be attached in a fluid-tight manner to the extracardiac fluid channel openings in order to produce a fluid-tight connection of both fluid channels.
