To achieve a compact construction shape with a long service life, a focus adjustment apparatus for an image detection system is provided which comprises an objective having at least one lens and which comprises a motor device for the positional adjustment of the objective, wherein the lens is provided on a movable lens holder, wherein the movable lens holder is connected to a threaded unit of the motor device via a support unit provided in the movable lens holder such that the support unit can be rolled with the lens holder along a main axis of the threaded unit in accordance with a rotation of the threaded unit and such that an axis of rotation of the support unit is directed perpendicular to the main axis of the threaded unit.

Focus adjustment apparatus for an image detection system

A device for optical scanning of markings, such as barcodes, has at least two transmitters () that send light beams () at different angles toward a rotating polygonal mirror (), which deflects the light beams onto the markings being scanned. The light reflected by the markings is deflected by the polygonal mirrors () to separate receiver systems, so that the device has and simultaneously uses at least two separate transmitter/receiver channels.

An apparatus is described for the adjustment of the focal position of an opto-electronic apparatus including a transmitter element which transmits light and a lens for the focusing of the light transmitted by the transmitter element. The apparatus includes a pivotal lever for receiving the transmitter element or the lens, which is pivotable via a positioning element about a pivot joint for the adjustment of the spacing between the transmitter element and the lens and thus for the adjustment of the focal position. A laser diode module as an example has a laser diode pressed into a first housing part and a lens of an optical collimation system pressed into a cup-shaped second housing part. The second housing part is pressed into a cylindrical opening of the first housing part. In the opening there are molded three runners, which extend in the axial direction and are uniformly distributed in the peripheral direction, with the runners engaging on the jacket surface of the second housing part. The runners and the jacket surface form connection elements which are press-fitted together and which enable, apart from the connection, an adjustment of the lens relative to the laser diode. Pressure die cast zinc is in particular suitable as the material for the connection elements. An adhesive bond is not required with a holder of this kind.

The luminescence sensor has a housing insert (30) which is formed as an extruded section which carries the optical and optoelectronic components in a preadjusted arrangement. The housing insert can be built into the housing (10) on which a peripheral part of the optical system is mounted in an adjusted manner.
