A personal care composition and methods for determining a stability of the personal care composition are disclosed. The personal care composition may include an emulsion of a hydrophobic phase and a hydrophilic phase. The hydrophobic phase may include an emulsifying system including one or more amino acid surfactants, such as a glutamate surfactant.

Silicone free emulsion-based personal care compositions and methods for the same

Disclosed herein are liquid cleansing compositions comprising a foam booster comprising ethoxylated hydrogenated castor oil present in an amount ranging from about 0.5% to about 2% based on the total weight of the composition, castor oil maleate, glycerin, and at least one surfactant, wherein the pH of the composition is less than about 7. The liquid cleansing compositions disclosed herein provide enhanced foam volume and texture. Further disclosed herein are methods of making a liquid cleansing composition.

Stable low pH personal care compositions and methods for the same

Antiperspirant and/or deodorant compositions and methods for the same are provided. The compositions may include an antiperspirant active or a deodorant active, water, and a preservative system. The antiperspirant active may include aluminum, and the preservative system may include a biodegradable amino carboxylate. The methods may include substituting or replacing a conventional chelant, such as EDTA, with a biodegradable chelant, such as HIDS. The methods may also include applying one of the compositions to an axillary area of a person.

Antiperspirant / deodorant compositions including biodegradable amino carboxylates and methods for the same

Provided herein is an aqueous composition comprising an active antiperspirant ingredient and disodium EDTA, wherein the active antiperspirant ingredient is present in an amount of 0.2 weight % to 3 weight % by total weight of the composition on an anhydrous basis, wherein the active antiperspirant ingredient comprises an aluminum salt, and wherein the pH of the composition is from 2 to 5. The composition may be used as an antiperspirant when applied to the axillary area of a person.

Provided herein is a soft solid or solid antiperspirant/deodorant composition comprising alum, a clay and talc, wherein the clay is present in an amount of 0.1 weight % to 3 weight % by total weight of the composition, and wherein the talc is present in an amount of 10 wt. % to 25 weight % by total weight of the composition. The combination of clay and talc effectively suspends alum in the composition, enabling an even distribution of the alum through the composition.

Oral care system

An aqueous, foamable composition comprising castor oil maleate, PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate, glycerin, surfactant, and optionally PEG-6 caprylic/capric glycerides. An oral care system including a toothbrush and a dispenser that is detachably coupled thereto. In one aspect, the invention can be an oral care system comprising: a toothbrush comprising a handle, a head and a plurality of tooth cleaning elements extending from the head; and a dispenser detachably coupled to the toothbrush, the dispenser comprising a housing, a first reservoir chamber disposed in the housing containing a first oral care material, and a second reservoir chamber disposed in the housing containing a second oral care material, the second oral care material different than the first oral care material.

A dispenser for dispensing a mixture of oral care materials. In one aspect, the invention can be a dispenser () comprising: a housing () having a first reservoir chamber () containing a first oral care material () and a second reservoir chamber () containing a second different oral care material (); a mixing chamber () disposed in the housing, a mixing screw () disposed within the mixing chamber and having an actuator () for rotating the mixing screw; a first delivery port () for introducing the first oral care material into the mixing chamber and a second delivery port () for introducing the second oral care material into the mixing chamber; a dispensing nozzle () for dispensing a mixture of the first and second oral care materials; and wherein rotation of the mixing screw draws the first and second oral care materials into the mixing chamber and expels the mixture of the first and second oral care materials from the nozzle.

A composition comprising 4-oxovaleric acid present in an amount of 0.05 to 1% by weight (as supplied) of the composition and/radish root ferment filtrate present at 0.2 to 2% by weight (as supplied) of the composition.
