The communication unit includes a first input (E), a first output (A), and an internal clock generator (TG) which is adapted to provide an internal clock signal as system clock for clocking the communication unit (S, S), and wherein the communication unit (S, S) is configured to receive, via the input (E), a serial input data stream with payload data. The communication unit (S, S) has a timer (ZG) for providing a time value, the timer (ZG) being adapted to provide the time value based on an input symbol clock included in the input data stream.

The communication unit (S, S) is configured to determine clock information (TI) on the basis of an internal reference clock signal of the communication unit (S, S) and an input symbol clock of the input data stream and, using the clock information (TI), to provide the output data stream (ADS) with an output symbol clock whose clock rate is equal to the clock rate of the input symbol clock.

Proposed is a magnetic valve with manual override, through the actuating element of which a magnetic core that serves as a valve element or that is connected to a valve element can be shifted from an off position into an operating position without excitation of a magnetic coil system assigned to it. To detect the position of the magnetic core that is held in the operating position by the manual override there is provided a coil current monitoring device that monitors the rise of the coil current after the magnetic coil system has been switched on, which device has a detection device for detection of the absence of a drop in current as formed by movement of the magnetic core after being switched on and a signaling device for electrical signaling of a position of the magnetic core that is held in the operating position by the manual override if said drop in current is absent.

A control device for the control of a module battery, comprising a first external bus interface for the reception of external control commands from a higher level control and an internal bus interface for an internal bus, by way of which battery modules connected with the control device are able to be controlled in accordance with the external control command and by way of which the battery modules may transmit messages to the control device. The control device possesses a second external bus interface, by way of which visualizing data for visualizing at least one function of the module battery may be applied.

An electronic part having electrical terminals for the connection of further equipment includes at least one internal electronic unit, which is connected with the electrical terminals. The electrical terminals are part of an adapter arranged in a replaceable fashion on a base having the internal electronic unit. The adapter possesses a standardized first electrical interface connected with the electrical terminals, which on mounting and dismounting the adapter on and from a standardized second electrical interface connected with the internal electronic unit and mounted on the base, are contacted and put out of contact with the first interface coming into and out of electrical contact with the standardized second electrical interface, which are provided on the base and are connected with the internal electronic unit.

A valve arrangement comprising at least one valve unit having several electrically operated valves, such unit possessing a bus station adapted to be connected with a serial bus controlled by a central station, the bus station being connected via control lines with electrical drives of the valves. The bus station comprises at least one serial connection adapted to be connected via a connecting cable with a serial/parallel converter of at least one further valve unit and/or at least one input module for the detection of sensor signals, the serial/parallel converter being connected via control lines with the electrical drives of the valves of this at least one further valve unit for the operation of the electrical drives of such valves by the bus station and/or via sensor lines with the sensors. The result is that the central bus station may have further valve units connected with it via a respective cable without the need for a respective separate bus station so that any desired further modifications of the system are possible.
