A wheel holder for fastening to a wheel comprises at least two arms extending outward from a base plate of the wheel holder radially; each of the arms having at least one movable element that is movable radially; a central rotation element that is arranged in the center of the wheel holder such that it can rotate; and at least two coupling elements each extending between one of the movable elements and the central rotation element such that the movable elements are movable radially by rotation of the rotation element. The rotation element is attached to the base plate of the wheel holder via a freewheeling system. The freewheeling system has at least one operating state in which the rotation element is rotatable in a freewheeling direction and rotation of the rotation element in a blocking direction opposite to the freewheeling direction is blocked.

A wheel holder () for fastening to a wheel (), in particular to a wheel () of a motor vehicle, comprises at least two arms () extending outward from a center () of the wheel holder () in a radial direction; each of the arms () having at least one movable element () that is movable in the radial direction; a rotation element () that is arranged in the center () of the wheel holder () such that it can rotate; at least two coupling elements () each extending between one of the movable elements () and the central rotation element () such that the movable elements () are movable in the radial direction by rotation of the rotation element (); and at least one drive device () which is connected to one of the movable elements () via a force transmitting element () and which is designed to apply, via the force transmitting element (), a force to the movable element () that is directed towards the center () of the wheel holder ().

A wheel clamp () for fastening to a wheel (), in particular to a wheel () of a motor vehicle, comprises at least two arms () which extend outward from a center () of the wheel clamp () in a radial direction, and a central rotary element () which is rotatably arranged in the center () of the wheel clamp (). Each arm () has at least one movable element () which is movable in the radial direction in order to permit varying the length of the arm () in the radial direction. The wheel clamp () comprises furthermore at least two coupling elements () which each extend between one of the movable elements () and the central rotary element () such that the movable elements () are movable in the radial direction by rotation of the rotary element ().

A wheel clamp () for fastening to a wheel (), in particular to a wheel () of a motor vehicle, comprises at least two arms () which extend outward from a center () of the wheel clamp () in a radial direction. Each of the arms () has at least one movable element () which is movable in the radial direction. The wheel clamp () comprises a locking member () which is designed such that the movable elements (), by operation of the locking member (), can be fixed such that the movable elements () are no longer movable in the radial direction. A calibration frame for calibrating a reference system for vehicle measurement has setting elements, which enable a precise spatial orientation of the calibration frame, and multiple defined points of support, which are designed to accommodate a reference system carrier. In one specific embodiment, the points of support are designed in such a way that the reference system carrier is situatable on the points of support in at least two different orientations. In a second specific embodiment, a leveling element is provided which indicates the spatial orientation of the calibration frame in relation to the earth's gravitation field.

Method for adjusting or calibrating a vehicle surrounding sensor, and a vehicle surrounding sensor adjustment or calibration system

A method and a device are provided for the optical axle alignment of wheels of a motor vehicle. At the wheels that are to be aligned, targets are mounted, having optically recordable marks, the targets being recordable by measuring units that have stereo camera devices. In a referencing process, using a referencing device that is integrated into the measuring units, a measuring position reference system is established for the measuring units. In a calibration process, in which a local 3D coordinate system is established using at least three marks of the target, the determination of a reference plane is carried out, using a significant mark of the target. Finally, using the reference plane, a vehicle longitudinal center plane is ascertained, while taking into account the measuring location reference system. In a subsequent measuring process, an image is recorded of at least three indeterminate marks taken during the calibration process, and their spatial position is ascertained in the local 3D coordinate system by the evaluation unit.
