An intermediate cover of a filter housing of a filter for purifying liquids can be mounted in the filter housing for separating a filter receiving space for a filter insert from a centrifuge receiving space for a centrifuge separator by a rotary and/or insertion movement relative to an imaginary axis. The intermediate cover is provided with a portion of at least one clean fluid channel forming a fluidic connection between a clean fluid side of the filter insert and a fluid outlet of the filter housing for a purified clean fluid. The filter insert has a connecting device arranged at an axial end face and connectable to the intermediate cover. An outlet opening for purified clean fluid is arranged at the axial end face and corresponds with an inlet opening of the clean fluid channel of the intermediate cover. The outlet opening at least partially forms the connecting device.

An exchangeable filter system is provided with an exchangeable filter module that has at least one fluid inlet, at least one fluid outlet, and a fluid path connecting the at least one fluid inlet and the at least one fluid outlet with each other. The exchangeable filter module is provided with at least one filter element for filtering a fluid. A flange element and a counter flange element are provided. The flange element is provided to releasably engage the exchangeable filter module and to releasably engage the counter flange element. A valve device is arranged in the flange element. The valve device blocks the fluid path when the flange element is in engagement with the exchangeable filter module and is disengaged from the counter flange element. An internal combustion engine is provided with such an exchangeable filter system to filter fuel, lubricant or urea.

Exchangeable filter system

A filter element for filtering fluid has a filter medium surrounding an inner cavity extending axially in the filter element. An axially extending sealing connecting piece is arranged at an axial end of the filter element. The sealing connecting piece has an opening fluidically connecting the inner cavity to a fluid channel of a filter housing and also has a seal holder structure. A double concentric seal is arranged at the sealing connecting piece and closes a drainage channel of the filter housing. The double concentric seal has radially inner and radially outer sealing elements. One of the sealing elements has an elastically deformable sealing lip that extends away from the sealing connecting piece radially and axially toward the filter medium and can be pressed against a sidewall of the drainage channel of the filter housing. The other sealing element is an oil seal arranged in the seal holder structure.

Filter element and fluid filter

A filter element of a liquid filter has a filter medium surrounding an element interior with a radially inner and a radially outer circumferential side as inflow side for raw fluid and outflow side for clean fluid, respectively. A sealing element arrangement of a sealing device is arranged at a filter medium end face. The sealing device seals a fluid connection between a liquid discharge line of a filter housing and the raw fluid side or clean fluid side of the filter element. The sealing element arrangement has radially inner and radially outer sealing elements extending circumferentially relative to the element axis. The radially outer and radially inner sealing elements are concave, viewed from a pressure-loadable side of the filter element. The radially outer sealing element has a radially outwardly or inwardly extending sealing lip; the radially inner sealing element has a radially inwardly or outwardly extending sealing lip.

The invention relates to a tank vent filter () that guides tank contents that have inadvertently reached the tank vent filter () through a downpipe () past a first filter () of the tank vent filter (). A contamination of the first filter () is thus prevented by means of a space-saving arrangement. The downpipe () and the first filter () are preferably arranged rotationally symmetrically around the longitudinal axis of the tank vent filter () in order to achieve an especially compact design of the tank vent filter ().
