A device for singularising coins of different sizes and thickness with a housing which comprises an obliquely inclined base plate is suggested. A catch element for catching and conveying coins to a further processing is rotatably arranged above the base plate. The coins are randomly present at least in the lower region of the base plate on which a collection container is fastened. A flap is arranged in the base plate, which opens and closes synchronously with the driven coin catch element for leading a caught coin further.

A mechanical coin checking device comprises a coin channel having a running rail, a coin acceptance shaft connected to the coin channel, a blocking element which is pivoted into the coin acceptance shaft if no coin is present and which, due to the weight thereof, pivots, after entry of a coin into the acceptance shaft, releases the acceptance shaft and blocks the coin channel at the same time, a confirmation photoelectric barrier which is disposed in the acceptance channel and detects the passage of a coin, an optical sensor for detecting the position of the blocking element and a control unit connected to the confirmation photoelectric barrier and to the optical sensor, the control unit, as a function of the signals of the confirmation photoelectric barrier and of the optical sensor, producing a credit signal for acceptance of the coin falling through the acceptance shaft.

The invention proposes an insertion device for coins for transferring said coins to a coin tester or to a coin-operated machine, having an insertion slot and having a coin outlet, between which is arranged a rotatable drum having a receiving region for receiving a coin, wherein in a receiving position, the receiving region is accessible to a coin which can be inserted through the insertion slot, and the insertion slot can be closed off by means of rotation of the drum. The drum having the receiving region is covered by a flap which can be opened in a controlled fashion in an ejection position for ejecting foreign material.

Insertion device for coins

A coin slot for a mechanical coin-acceptor unit and a mechanical coin-acceptor unit having a coin slot aperture incorporated in a front plate, a coin slot chamber and a coin channel are proposed, the coin channel being offset relative to the coin slot aperture and the coin slot chamber having a shoulder behind the coin slot aperture in the insertion direction. The shoulder is configured so as to vibrate as a coin reflector or membrane in such a manner that an impacting inserted coin in the coin slot chamber is reflected by the shoulder elastically in the direction of the front plate and experiences, in the coin slot chamber, a renewed reversal of direction in the direction of the coin channel.
