A light module for a lighting device of a vehicle is disclosed having at least one illuminant and a light-guiding body which is suitable and destined for guiding radiation emanating from the illuminant and coupled into the light-guiding body to a light exit surface of the light-guiding body, and having at least one rear wall apparatus which is arranged at least in certain areas in the beam path of ambient radiation incident from externally through the light exit surface of the light-guiding body into the light-guiding body. The rear wall apparatus has at least one first rear wall region and at least one second rear wall region, wherein the at least one first rear wall region and the at least one second rear wall region differ from one another in terms of reflection and/or absorption properties, for example with regard to the ambient radiation.

A lighting device for a motor vehicle, having at least one light guide, which is formed planar, and having at least one illuminant. Light rays from the illuminant can be coupled or are coupled into the light guide via a light incoupling surface assigned to the light guide. Incoupled light rays are deflected via at least one light outcoupling structure of the light guide in the direction of at least one light outcoupling surface of the light guide and are again outcoupled from the light guide via the light outcoupling surface. The invention proposes that a rear surface of the light guide, which surface is opposite to the light outcoupling surface, is provided at least over a majority of its planar extent with a facet-like surface structure, which forms the light outcoupling structure of the light guide and formed of a plurality of irregularly formed facet surfaces.

A method for generating the light function of a direction indicator in a motor vehicle. The light function of the direction indicator is activated when the motor vehicle is in an operational state and an actuating element is actuated in the motor vehicle. In addition to the generation of the light function of the direction indicator, a ground light projection can be generated in the immediate vicinity of the motor vehicle. The ground light projection can be generated, for example, only when an ambient brightness of the motor vehicle falls below a certain limit value.

A method for regulating the light emission from a vehicle light, wherein a road user located in the light emission direction of the vehicle light is detected, and the light emission from the vehicle light is changed, whereupon response data on the response of the road user to the change in the light emission are acquired. Prediction data indicating the response expected from a road user located in the light emission direction of the vehicle light to the changed light emission are determined. The acquired response data are compared with the determined prediction data, if the prediction data deviate from the response data, the adjustment in the light emission from the vehicle light by which a reduction in the deviation is predicted is determined, and the light emission is regulated according to the determined adjustment. Further, the invention relates to a device for carrying out this method.

An emblem arrangement for a motor vehicle has an emblem support part, an element forming a brand emblem, and at least one luminous element for illuminating the emblem arrangement. A method and an illumination arrangement for generating image effects in the interior of a motor vehicle or also outside the motor vehicle. To use existing installation space as efficiently as possible, light is radiated, in the form of at least a first optical reference wave field, onto a irradiation surface that is arranged laterally on an optical image storage device. In the optical image storage, which contains a holographic layer or a diffractive optical layer, the optical reference wave field is transformed into at least a first image wave field and is emitted on an emission side, at a first angular offset with respect to the irradiation surface.

A lighting system for a vehicle and a corresponding motor vehicle is implemented with personalized or individualizable lighting functions. A part of a lighting device is reserved for implementing main lighting functions in accordance with legal requirements and another part of the lighting device is reserved for generating individualizable lighting functions. The part for individualizable lighting functions can be freely programmed and actuated via a user interface, such as a smartphone, within the scope of the technical power limitations of the individual lighting devices while taking into consideration legal requirements.
