The present disclosure relates to transformers. Various embodiments of the teachings herein may include a coating of an insulation body of a dry transformer. For example, the electrical winding may include multiple windings of a winding conductor wound to form a coil. The coil has been embedded into a solid insulation body. In some embodiments, a coating of an electrically conductive material, comprising a resin matrix and microscale filler, has been applied to at least one surface of the insulation body.

Compact dry-type transformer

The present disclosure relates to electrical windings for a dry transformer which allows construction of a compact dry transformer even in relatively high voltage classes. For this purpose, the electrical winding has multiple windings of a winding conductor wound to form a coil. The coil has been embedded into a solid insulation body. In some embodiments, a coating of an electrically conductive material, comprising a resin matrix with at least 0.05% by weight of nanoscale filler, has been applied to at least one surface of the insulation body.

Dry-type transformer

A rotor cap for an electric generator, e.g., a high-speed turbogenerator, is disclosed, along with a production method for such rotor cap. The rotor cap is at least partially made of fiber-reinforced plastic material. The rotor cap may have cooling fluid passages, e.g., extending in an axial direction, in the area of the fiber-reinforced plastic material.

Rotor cap for electric generators

A device comprising a base body is provided. A stator pack of an electric machine is connected to the base body by means of a connecting structure. The electric machine includes a rotor which cooperates electromagnetically with the stator pack and is rotatably mounted relative to the stator pack such that the rotor can rotate about the rotational axis. The stator pack is fixed by means of the connecting structure relative to the base body. The stator pack includes a plurality of stator sheets which are stacked on top of each other when seen in the direction of the rotational axis. Electromagnetically inactive first intermediate layers are arranged at least between certain stator sheets. The first intermediate layers are components of the connecting structure. Torque exerted upon the rotor by means of the stator pack is transferred in the connecting structure by means of the layers.

Device comprising an electric machine with a lightweight design

A method for producing an electrical insulation material includes the steps: providing a liquid-crystalline polymer; shaping the liquid-crystalline polymer to give an insulation film in such a manner that the mesophase of the liquid-crystalline polymer is present in the insulation film, whereby the molecules of the polymer are aligned in a preferred direction in the insulation film; laminating a plurality of insulation films to give a layer complex forming the electrical insulation material, wherein the layer complex has at least one insulation film which differs in the preferred direction of the molecules thereof from the preferred direction of the molecules of another insulation film.
