A system includes a fill level measuring device and at least one attachment. The fill level measuring device measures the fill level of a medium in a container. The fill level measuring device has a control and evaluation unit for generating a measurement signal, and a process connection element. The process connection element has a transmission element on the medium side. The transmission element is at least partially permeable to the measurement signal. The at least one attachment is connected to the process connection element. The at least one attachment has, on the medium side, an attachment lens for coupling the measurement signal into the container. The attachment lens is designed and, during operation, arranged behind the transmission element in the propagation direction of the measurement signal in such a way that the attachment lens changes the opening angle of the measurement signal.

A radar arrangement includes a printed circuit board (PCB), an electronic component, and an antenna. The electronic component is arranged on the PCB and is used to generate a high-frequency signal. The PCB has at least four electrically conductive layers separated from one another by at least three electrically insulating layers. A first conductive inner layer is adjacent to a first conductive outer layer, and a second conductive inner layer is adjacent to a second conductive outer layer. The electronic component is arranged on the first conductive outer layer. The antenna is formed at least partially in the second outer layer. The signal generated by the electronic component is transmitted to the antenna, which is formed at least partially in the second conductive outer layer of the PCB, through a region of the conductive inner layers and insulating inner layers of the PCB.

Radar arrangement

A probe for measuring plasma parameters by means of active plasma resonance spectroscopy comprises an external coupling, a balun, an internal coupling, and a probe head. It is provided that the couplings, the balun, and the probe head are integrated in an electrically-insulating substrate cylinder, and the substrate cylinder has a layered structure made from multiple substrate layers along its rotational axis. In this way, a probe for measuring plasma parameters is provided which enables an improved measurement of the plasma parameters, wherein the plasma is influenced as little as possible during the measurement of the plasma parameters.

A radar antenna arrangement includes a plurality of transmitting elements and with a plurality of receiving elements. The transmitting elements are arranged in a transmitting arrangement and the receiving elements are arranged in a receiving arrangement, in each case in fields of a regularly hexagonally parqueted surface. An associated virtual antenna arrangement of virtual antenna elements results from the geometrical convolution of the transmitting arrangement with the receiving arrangement. High angular resolution and good alignability with good directional independence can be achieved by arranging the receiving elements in the receiving arrangement and the transmitting elements in the transmitting arrangement so that the virtual antenna elements in the virtual antenna arrangement are arranged without overlap.

Radar antenna arrangement

A fill level measuring device having at least one transmitting and receiving unit, a measuring antenna with a first supply element for transmitting and receiving an electromagnetic measurement signal and at least one dielectric body for guiding and/or shaping the waves of the measurement signal, and a communication antenna. The communication antenna has at least one second supply element for wireless transmission and for receiving an electromagnetic communication signal. To provide a fill level measuring device that can be used particularly flexibly, the first supply element and the second supply element are arranged inside the dielectric body so that the dielectric body is able to guide and/or shape the measurement signal and the communication signal.

The invention relates to a device and method for measuring the density of a plasma by determining an impulse response to a high-frequency signal coupled into a plasma. The density, electron temperature and/or collision frequency as a function of the impulse response can be determined. A probe having a probe head and a probe shaft can be introduced into the plasma, wherein the probe shaft is connected to a signal generator for electrically coupling a high-frequency signal into the probe head. The probe core is enclosed by the jacket and has at its surface mutually insulated electrode areas of opposite polarity. A balun is arranged at the transition between the probe head and an electrically unbalanced high-frequency signal feed to convert electrically unbalanced signals into balanced signals.

Device and use of the device for measuring the density and/or the electron temperature and/or the collision frequency of a plasma

A waveguide coupling, in particular for a radar level indicator having a waveguide, a carrier plate and at least one feed line, wherein the waveguide is placed on a first side of the carrier plate on the carrier plate, the feed line is guided on and/or in the carrier plate into the inner area of the waveguide and the feed line terminates with an end in the inner area of the waveguide. The carrier plate is continuous in the inner area of the waveguide and thus extends beyond the end of the feed line, an electrically conductive coupling element is arranged near the end of the feed line on and/or in the carrier plate, so that the coupling element is capacitively coupled with the feed line and the coupling element serves to couple electromagnetic waves led into the waveguide via the feed line in the waveguide.

A dielectric antenna () having at least one supply element () and at least one lens () formed of a dielectric material. The dielectric antenna makes it possible to measure the surface of a medium with an essentially consistent measuring accuracy in that the lens () has an outer component () and an inner component (). The outer component () has a radiating surface () that is spherical and an inner surface () that is spherical, and the inner component () has a contact surface () that spherical. Furthermore, the antenna is usable as part of a fill level sensor operating on the radar principle.
