A method and a device for fine adjustment of the reconstruction plane of a digital combination image from individual images of a digital radiology system. The device includes an interface for providing individual images of an object. The individual images have overlapping regions with one another. A distance controller, with which the distance A of the individual images can be changed. A processing unit calculates a current combination image from the individual images. The individual images are each shifted by the distance A in relation to one another. A display unit displays the current combination image from the individual images. There is also described an image evaluation system and/or digital radiology system which includes the device.

Device and method for fine adjustment of the reconstruction plane of a digital combination image

An imaging apparatus has a capture device for capturing 1D or 2D image data. A position and/or orientation for a moving section of an examination object is captured, for example using a measuring device, for a plurality of capture times for the image data. A computation device reconstructs 3D volume data from the image data based on projection parameters and based on the position and/or orientation of the moving section of the examination object.

In a method for generation of 3D x-ray image data of a subject, a number of initial 2D x-ray images of the subject are acquired from various viewing directions. A number of noise-filtered 2D x-ray images are produced by, for each noise-filtered 2D image, combining at least two of the initial 2D x-ray images with noise filtering. 3D x-ray image data are generated from the noise-filtered 2D x-ray images.

Method for generation of 3-D x-ray image data of a subject

In a method for correction of an image data set that was acquired with a planar image detector using at least two calibration images that were acquired in a preliminary procedure, as well as a method for generation of an image from a raw image data set that was acquired with a planar image detector with a high-sensitivity dynamic range and with a low-sensitivity dynamic range and which is composed of two image data sets, of which one was acquired in the high-sensitivity dynamic range and the other was acquired in the low-sensitivity dynamic range, at least two calibration images are generated in each dynamic range in a preliminary process. These calibration images are used in a correction procedure for the correction of the individual image data sets, as well as in a combination procedure to merge the two corrected image data sets into one image. In the combination procedure the two image data sets are conformed to one another using a comparison of the calibration images of the high-sensitivity dynamic range with the calibration images of the low-sensitivity dynamic range. The adjusted, corrected image data sets are added with weighting in a second step.

Method for correcting an image data set, and method for generating an image corrected thereby

In a method for correction of an image in a series of images acquired with an x-ray detector; wherein the x-ray detector is composed of a number of detector elements and an acquired image is composed of image elements associated with the detector elements, a series of detector signals is generated in a detector element by x-ray radiation, the detector signals respectively exhibiting a detector-specific temporal decay curve; and an image element to be corrected and acquired over a predetermined acquisition interval contains signal portions of the current and preceding detector signals acquired during this acquisition interval. By calculating signal portions of preceding detector signals acquired in the acquisition interval and subtracting them from the image element to be corrected, the image quality of an image from a series of images acquired with a digital image acquisition apparatus is improved.

Method for correction of an image from a series of images acquired with an x-ray detector

In a method for calibration of an image-generating x-ray system with a digital x-ray receiver and an x-ray system operating with this calibration method, a number of first offset-corrected bright images are determined at a first constant reference temperature of the x-ray receiver respective at a number first dose settings. A second offset-corrected bright image are subsequently determined at a number of second reference temperatures and at second dose settings that correspond to respective first dose settings. A quotient image is calculated from the second bright image and the first bright image for each of these reference temperatures and is stored. A multi-point calibration at various reference temperatures is implemented with low time expenditure in this manner.
