The invention relates to an arrangement for detecting rotation angles on a rotating component, having transducers and sensors, detecting a physical variable as digitally processable signals as a function of the rotation angle change of the rotating component. The rotating component has at least one satellite of a smaller circumference that is coupled at the circumference thereof and rotates by means of the rotation thereof, preferably having an angle sensor, which drives a likewise rotating hypocycloidal disc or hypocycloidal gear wheel via an axially coupled hypocycloidal gearbox, the circumferential speed of which can be geared down by the hypocycloidal gearbox such that a speed of the rotating component and the absolute wheel angle across multiple revolutions of the steering axle can be determined using a revolution sensor system.

Arrangement for detecting a rotation angle

Rotation angle sensor and rotation angle sensor system for determining the angle of rotation of a shaft which can rotate at its shaft end, having a housing, having a shaft mount which is mounted on the housing such that it can rotate, having at least one signal transducer arranged on the shaft mount and having at least one signal receiver which is arranged on the housing and interacts with the signal transducer, wherein the shaft mount is designed in a manner such that the housing is attached only by means of the shaft mount at the shaft end.

Rotation angle sensor and rotation angle sensor system

A steering angle sensor comprises a main rotor which can be rotated in a rotationally synchronous manner and which can be coupled to a steering column or to a steering wheel. The main rotor can be rotated about the rotational axis of the steering column. The steering angle sensor also comprises at least one additional rotor which can be driven by the main rotor, a first scanning unit which is used to scan the position of the rotational angle of the main rotor, and a second scanning unit which is used to scan the rotational angle of the additional rotor. The additional rotor can be rotated about the rotational axis of the steering column and can drive the additional rotor of at least one transmission element driven by the main rotor. A method for determining the absolute steering angle of a steering wheel is also disclosed.

Steering angle sensor

A device determines a torque that is exerted on a shaft, the shaft having a first shaft section and a second shaft section, the two shaft sections being rotatable in relation to one another. The device comprise a multi-pole magnetic ring and a stator support that is fixed to the second shaft section. Two stator elements are fixed to the stator support and each stator element has fingers that project in an axial or radial direction, are uniformly distributed at least over part of the circumference and are interspaced by gaps. The magnetic ring is situated between the fingers of one stator element and the fingers of the other stator element. A second magnetic ring is located on one of the two shaft sections and a magnetic sensor is mounted on one of the two shaft sections.

Device for determining a steering angle and a torque that is exerted on a steering shaft

The invention concerns a modular steering column mounted switch system for motor vehicles which is organized according to the internal functions of the switch. The steering column mounted switch system contains a plurality of functional modules which correspond to the internal functions. Should the demands for operation and/or design of a particular module change, the associated module can be easily replaced. All other functional modules remain unchanged, to thereby permit simple adaptation of the steering column mounted switch to the given operation and design demands. When there is a defect, the modular steering column mounted switch can also be easily repaired and in an economical fashion by simple replacing the defective functional module.
