The present disclosure relates to a method for producing rigid polyurethane foam composite elements, including at least one outer layer and a rigid polyurethane foam layer, by mixing (a) polyisocyanates with (b) compounds having at least two hydrogen atoms reactive with isocyanate groups, (c) optionally flame retardant(s), (d) blowing agent, (e) catalyst, and (f) optionally auxiliaries and adjuvants to form a reaction mixture, applying the reaction mixture to the outer layer, and curing it to form the rigid polyurethane foam. The present disclosure further relates to a rigid polyurethane foam composite element obtainable by such a method.

Method for producing polyurethane hard foam composite elements using Mannich polyols

The present invention relates to composite elements comprising (i) plastic, adhering to which there is (ii) a polyisocyanate polyaddition product, where the polyisocyanate polyaddition product is obtained via mixing of (a) isocyanate with (b) compounds having groups reactive toward isocyanates, (c) catalysts and optionally additional products to give a reaction mixture and converting the reaction mixture to a polyisocyanate polyaddition product, where the compounds (b) comprise a polyester polyalcohol as adhesion promoter, capable of production via polycondensation of an acid component and one or more low-molecular-weight diols whose molar mass is less than 500 g/mol, in excess, where the acid component comprises from 83 to 97 mol % of adipic acid and from 3 to 17 mol % of phthalic acid, isophthalic acid, and/or terephthalic acid. The present invention also relates to components in the fitting-out or aircraft, of vehicles, or of buildings, and to insulation comprising this type of composite element.

Adhesion promoter for adhesive composites composed of plastic and of a polyisocyanate polyaddition product

The present invention relates to a process for producing a thermoformable rigid polyurethane-polyamide foam having a closed-cell content of less than 70%, which comprises mixing (a) an organic polyisocyanate with (b) one or more polymeric compounds having two or more isocyanate-reactive hydrogen atoms, (c) optionally crosslinking and/or chain-extending agents, (d) one or more carboxylic acids having a functionality of 2 or more, (e) a catalyst comprising a Lewis base component, and (f) optionally auxiliaries and additives to form a reaction mixture and reacting this reaction mixture to form the rigid polyurethane-polyamide foam. The present invention further relates to a thermoformable rigid polyurethane-polyamide foam obtained by such a process and also to the use of such a thermoformable rigid polyurethane-polyamide foam for interior lining or engine compartment lining of motor vehicles.
