The present invention is a supplementary control valve device including a valve body, which may be reversibly displaced in a guide, in the direction of the longitudinal axis, between an opening solenoid and a closing solenoid. The magnetic yoke of the opening solenoid includes at least one extension, with direct contact with a web, connected to the guide on the end thereof facing away from the extension.

A power control device for drive motors in motor vehicles, in particular an accelerator pedal, includes an operating lever which may be operated by an operating force against a return force from a rest position on pivoting about a pivot axis. A damping device for damping the pivot motion of the operating lever is also included. The damping device is a friction device which includes a friction element. The friction element acts upon a component of the operating lever such that in addition to the return force a friction force is also overcome during a pivot movement of the operating lever in a direction away from the rest position.

The present invention relates to an accelerator pedal for a motor vehicle, especially one with an automatic gearbox. The pedal includes a pedal arm which in one end area thereof is pivotally mounted about a pivoting axis and which in the other end thereof is provided with a pedal plate which can be impinged upon the force by the driver. When force is exerted upon the pedal plate, the pedal arm can be pivoted into an absolute final position when a kick down switch is actuated, wherein a signal can be produced by the kick down switch and can be fed to a control electronics system. The kick down switch comprises a permanent magnet, the magnet force thereof being used to retain a magnetically conducting component on a magnetic return element whereby the component can be moved away from the magnetic return element as a result of the movement of the pedal arm into an end position.

An electric motor is provided with rotor and stator. The stator includes stator poles radially facing the rotor and surrounded by stator windings. An insulating sleeve is positioned between the rotor and stator. The sleeve includes projections arranged radially with respect to the rotor. The projections project in a direction away from the sleeve and rotor and towards the stator. The projections project between adjacent stator poles and may further serve to anchor the poles. The projections may have a T or elongated T shape. The projections and sleeve are rigid and either or both may be made of plastic. The sleeve provides a moisture or liquid tight insulation for the stator so that the motor can be used in moist or liquid environments.
